I know right now times are tough for everyone, even businesses due to covid -19 but customer service should'nt be called in an order was treated rude. My reception received was " oh your order is this and this is your price with a clank hanhup on phone from their end" I had a question I wanted to ask and was unable to...yes I leave tips only delt with them twice now. But it's no excuess for that level of rudeness during times like these ☹️. I'm sorry there stressed and I'm trying to do my part in helping businesses by ordering from them but stuff like that can be tough to take and adds more stress...the food how ever was good on my first visit hope it'll be on my second visit.

Called before 4PM to request curbside pickup.
I was told that this service would be honored, a note would be left, just call when ready to order.
When I called at 5:30, I was just told no, this service was not available. I mentioned the situation, my conversation, and all I got was NO.
We’ve been quarantined since March 2020. We’ve been trying to order local...Zorba’s led us wrong.

My friends and I enjoyed lunch here. We each tried a different item from their lunch menu. I had the gyro and Greek salad. The portions were generous and the food tasty. The service was good and the dining area comfortable and clean. I look forward to a return visit.

My wife and I (both women) came here for date night and spent $70 up front, tipping $10 for service before we were served. When we first ordered, the service was fine. As soon as we sat down side by side and it became obvious we were a couple, the service became terrible. We were both shocked. The waitress slopped my wife's soup right out of the bowl, not even bothering to set it on the table; she just thrust the bowl at my wife. Similarly, the waitress did not bother to put any food on the table and just shoved the plates at us until we took them out of her hands. Throughout our meal, the waitress went to every other table in the restaurant multiple times to take their empty plates, ask how their meal was, and so on. She did not come to our table or speak to us even once. When I went up front to ask for a box for leftovers, she was visibly upset. I have never experienced such open and bizarre homophobia from a restaurant in Albuquerque before. We will not be taking our money to Zorba's "Fine" Greek Cuisine again, and I suggest anyone looking for good service do the same.

The staff is very rude here, and the food has gone downhill. It used to be one of my favorite places, but after the server loudly mocked my insulin related question to the another server loud enough it carried through the restaurant I will never be back. Be careful if you have special dietary needs as they will rudely tell you that they won’t even ask the cook who happens to be the owner. Clearly from the reviews, I am not the first person to run into this server recently. The other server who understood that if I dosed too soon it could be an issue was extremely embarrassed by the treatment that I received and also felt bad that everyone inside the restaurant could hear what she was saying about my medical condition related question. The only reason I chose to write this review is that the owner could hear her mocking me and chose not to tell her to knock it off. It is not because she told me she would not ask the cook for an estimated time for food to come up so I knew about when to bolus. First restaurant ever that treated me as an inconvenience. You would have thought I was asking for food before everyone else or something.

Well the best thing about this experience was the photos on the sidewalk of what might lunch should have been. I ordered the soup and salad from less than friendly staff and what was delivered was luke warm out of the microwave soup and a slimy bitter tasting salad. This was so unpalatable I got up and went next door for a second try at lunch.

I called in a curb side pickup order for lunch today, that went fine, went to pick up the food, that went fine, got home and took out the order to find the pita bread for the Minatour sampler was missing - hard to eat taziki and hummus with nothing to put it on. Fine - things happen - so I called to let them know they missed it and that I'd be coming back for it. That's when the trouble started.
The woman on the phone was speaking with the manager/owner (?) regarding how to handle it and it took them a while to determine they would simply give me a free order of pita bread when I came back.
When I show back up to get the missing pita bread the woman stands at the door watching me walk up then simply extends the bag in my direction. As I sat there looking at her, she decided she'd say "Here's your bread." No "Sorry about that!" or anything slightly apologetic. That was very frustrating after I had to take my time to go back. So then I asked to speak to whoever is in charge and the woman points to a woman and yells, when that woman doesn't respond the first lady asks me to just come in and talk to her. Okay.
The manager/owner (?) starts explaining that they'll compensate me wiht a free order of pita bread next time. When I asked her if that's compensation for me having to drive back down while my meal gets cold because they forgot something and she said "Yes, that's all I can do, I can't refund you because it's part of the sampler." I wasn't trying to get more than I deserved but that was a big inconvenience when I'm on my short lunch break AND it's their job to give you what you order. Then we started in a back and forth about how that's all she can do and me telling her my time and gas is worth more than that pita break to which she replies, "That's 58 cents worth of pita bread!", as if to address my concern. When she wasn't happy about me not being accepting of her insult she made it obvious why she was putting up such a fight about something so small that could easily be taken care of because she told me that THREE of her employees had checked my order and they ALL confirmed the pita bread was in there. To which I reply "Are you calling me a liar?" And she says no, but my employees confirmed it. I realized I was in a losing battle with someone who thought I would go out of my way to try to fanagle a free 58 cents worth of pita bread from the business, unwarranted. When I told her, "Fine, this is how you want to run your business, I won't be back." She proceeded to tell me "Thank you, have a wonderful day, you'll get what's coming to you!"
So the food was good and if the order was all there I would have never known how ugly this business treats it's customers. The staff acted like entitled, unconcerned teenagers who haven't had to build their social skills yet. Very disappointing. I will be telling everyone I know NOT to eat here. Good luck Zorbas! Train your employees to count up to two (the bag they probably said was my pita was a bag of french fries so they should have counted two bags) OR teach them the difference between pita bread and french fries.
....all for a stubborn manager/owner who wants to alienate their customers over the restaurants mistakes.

The finest Greek restaurant in Albuquerque. The lamb sandwich was unbelievably yummy. Small side salad was fresh and a side of falafel was exotic.

Strip center location with easy parking. I ordered the special which was chicken with cauliflower. I asked the server if was white meat and she said oh, it’s all mixed up together and there is one portion left. I ordered it, and received only dark meat. The dish was just ok. Portions are large and come with a side salad and potatoes or rice. My friends ordered a stuffed zucchini special and thought it was ok. They have eaten here before and prefer the things they’ve ordered off the regular menu. Reasonably priced.

Visited many times and the food is good. Not exactly "fine" as implied by the name of the restaurant, but respectable. Service is decent and the atmosphere is relaxed. The wait time is reasonable, and the prices reasonable as well. Not a huge menu, but fair.

I remember when this place used to be quite good. Stopped there for dinner
Was very very slowly waited on by a lady with only one templet on her eyeglasses. Seemed too handicap to get back and forth. We and one other table were the only tables occupied at 5pm on a Friday.
No drink refills, no checking on the table. Super slow service
Ordered gyros .... that in the past we’re always good
Not so this time
Meat tough
Flavorless, mostly watered down sour cream “sauce” pouring out the ends
Tiny salad also nothing to write home about
Cokes flat
The spanikopia that in the past was served free before the meal like bread or chips are in some places
Now was only served with a charge
Sadly shouldn’t of wasted my money
Spanikopia was soggy as though it had sat for many hours under a light
Not at all like the flaky crispy spanikopia of the past
Disappointed
Won’t be back

Hello there, and thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're sorry to hear that your most recent experience eating at our restaurant did not go as you would have expected and we believe this is just a one-off occurrence. Our server you described had an accident where she broke her glasses but was still doing her best to be helpful.

The filo dough on the spanakopita was a tad over cooked but the spinach inside was delicious. Chose the potatoes over the rice pilaf and wasn't disappointed. Really enjoyed the included salad with feta. And the dessert was really good!

Order any of the lunch specials and you'll fall in love with Zorba's. This is a nice, little neighborhood place with a big-hearted kitchen and staff. The food is always fresh, tasty and well-priced. And, ask for the tomatillo sauce--it's the best in ABQ!
Parking is easy, off the street and plentiful.

Each year when I visit Albuquerque I head to Zorba's for great flavor in a casual atmosphere.
I generally order their gyro which usually comes with a small Greek salad. The salad in itself is very tasty.
