With all the hype over Coronavirus wasn’t sure if it was a good idea to eat at a buffet but Curry Leaf puts your mind at ease. They provide disinfectant wipes and in addition they disinfect the buffet constantly. And of course the food is amazing!!

The food and service at Curry Leaf was outstanding. We tried the Paneer Masala, Roti, Masala Dosa, Chicken Szechwan Fried rice, Egg fried rice, Chicken Biriyani, Tandoori Chicken, Tandoori Chicken wings,Keema Naan, Chicken Chetinad, Bhindi Masala and Rasam.
I visited Curry leaf twice in one week, one for a order pickup and another for a dine in.
I requested Paneer Burji and Mr. Narender recommended Paneer Masala and Roti. It was the best combination. The masala Dosa was served at the perfect temperature, the crispiness of the Dosa was perfect. The stuffing in the Masala dosa was made to perfection. It was served with Sambar and Chutney.

Hubby and I have been a semi-regular for about 3 years and this is the first time we have had our dinner during Covid. We have also been away when the pandemic starts and it has been hard to know which restaurant is open for dine in. So after searching and reading we decide to dine here last weekend. The meal was spectacularly tasty, well prepared and clean. They are continuing to prepare wonderful meals and serve them in a responsible way during these difficult times. All in all it is good to know they have interior dine in and patio facilities.

This one seems to be around for a while. We as a group of friends dined here and were very disappointed.
The South Indian dishes Idly and Dosa were not at all made well; we had to return some back. The shrimp curry and fish curry dishes had very few pieces for the price we paid.
There was a buffet that we did not try but I doubt if it was any different in quality.
I don't know if the management or cooks changed. Definitely I would avoid going there.

My wife and I have enjoyed the Curry Leaf for many years, but tonight the staff outdid themselves. A group of 7 of us had a reservation at a different restaurant which they had double booked then left us to wait for 45 minutes for nothing. At 7:15 I called the Curry Leaf, they said come on over, and by 7:30 we were seated with drinks and samosas having a great time. We tried the goat curry special which has a deep, rich flavor, and several other more familiar dishes like the saag paneer and navrattan korma, all very tasty. The waiters were attentive the whole time to make sure everyone was served and happy. Our friends who had never tried the Curry Leaf came away impressed all around, and I am thankful that the staff rescued our evening.

When we lived in Albuquerque, this was one of our favorite restaurants. Now that we no longer live there, we always go back to visit the Curry Leaf when we go back to ABQ. This time it was as delicious as we remembered! The ambience is lovely, and the menu is huge: so many tempting choices. We had really good service, and our food arrived in good order. It was really wonderful- from the delicious mango lassi to the excellent curry dishes, really mouthwatering food. We loved every bite and can't wait to return again.

I love Indian food, but I find good Indian food hard to find in the US. I tried this place while visiting town based on reviews here. I am picky when it comes to restaurant food, and feel a restaurant should make it better than I do at home. The chicken tikka masala was perfect with a hint of smoky sweetness but not too sweet. The lamb vindaloo was also delicious. Everything was marinated and cooked and spiced properly, and therefore very flavorful. I wish I would have got the samosas too. Super cute decor, bright with a lot of lights on the ceilings. Outdoor seating is available too.

We were visiting Albuquerque and wanted to find a restaurant with outdoor seating (pet in tow) and that would satisfy the carnivores, vegetarians, and vegans in our group. A tall order to begin with but add on to that we prefer local restaurants to chains. Somehow we stumbled on Curry Leaf and it was fabulous. Spices and textures that were unique and fun. Hot where we wanted hot and mild for the less adventurous. Above all, it was clear that it was family owned and operated with excellent and personalized service. We had a great experience and great food. Thumbs up all around!

Ordered paper dosa, butter chicken (Makhani), Chana masala, all medium-hot spice levels. No rice and no naan bread either for us, the dosa is enough carbs. $42.99.
I do like their copper chafing pans for their buffet, looks cool.
The water here is a bit odd.
Not sure what’s with the netted Christmas lights on the ceiling, many are out too.
The dosa was colossally big here, super long, it’s crunchy on the top, a tad greasy and soggy on the bottom. The Rasam soup and the potato, peas and onion masala were both really good with the paper dosa. The potato masala reminds me of a warm potato salad, it’s good.
The makhani or butter chicken was nicely seasoned. My hubby had a bit of gristle in a bite of his, but the flavors good.
The Chana masala is also good, not scalding and white flavorful too.
The food and service were all good, a first in a couple of nights now.

In town for the Balloon Fiesta and wanted Indian food dinner. Based on reviews we chose Curry Leaf. So glad we did, everything was delicious. Started with Paneer Manchurian which neither of us had heard of. Chuncks of fried cheese is a spicy tomato based sauce. It was perfection! Mattar Paneer, Chicken Tikki Masala, the mango lassi and naan were all five stars. Service was impeccable too.

i ate here 2 nights this week. I ordered Doordash which was convininent but very expensive from a fees standpoint. the briyani was on point both days..the dal was average - not the best i have had. the curry leaf curry was very flavorful. Overall excellent food and i would order here again

Excellent food and service. Also, everything is very reasonably priced. We especially enjoyed the Uttapam, which rivals Paper Dosa in Santa Fe, NM. Our family will definitely be returning to Curry Leaf.

I’ve been here 5 times and every time I come here, I’ve seen them step up their game. The food is great and the service is amazing. Their lunch buffet is actually outstanding if you want a quick bite. My husband is from India and there’s very few places in ABQ I’ve eaten that would match this. A must do!

After waiting for an hour for our dinner we asked what was going on. Turns out the cook had misread the waitress's handwriting and got the order wrong. They said they were "working on it" and it would be ready "soon."
No apology, no offer to make it right, just a vague "soon."
We got up and left. So much for our anniversary dinner. Thanks Curry Leaf, you shall never see us again.

Three of us went there for lunch and really enjoyed their buffet. There was something for every palate although I would have liked food to be spicier. I guess I could have added this & that, but was too lazy to do that.
Price was also reasonable.
We would definitely go there again.
