The food at Wabi Sabi is good and the deserts are fabulous! The chef is very creative when it comes to the desert. The food is good, but it can be hit or miss, especially if it is the weekend and you are eating downstairs. They have live entertainment on the weekends. The sushi is very good and I would... More

To keep this short and sweet, If you want sushi go to Martins Grocery store. Their sushi is better than wabi sabi's at about a third of the price. Server was slow and rude, Will not be back.

The staff for the most part was friendly and the food was ok but really expensive for what you got. Some local beer and drafts as well as a cocktail list. Not the best sushi but a nice place for Petersburg VA.

I love the historical feel of the building. Pleasant staff. Sitting downstairs requires a walk down steep steps, be prepared for that if you want to go down there. And the restroom is located on the first floor. It was cool temps down there, which I loved. Low lighting. A little noisy, but still able to carry on conversations. A... More

Great , quaint, historical, eatery! Went with the family to try out the rave reviews of sushi and it didn't disappoint! The food and service were great! Get there early though, it is a local favorite. The sushi, steak kahbobs, wings, and drinks were delicious! I had one of the best margaritas ever!

I think the name, Wabi Sabi, held me under the impression that this was primarily, or even solely, a Japanese restaurant. It's not. It has American food too. And incredible sweet tea. I actually didn't eat any sushi (not the biggest fan), but I had this really great burger with blue cheese and mushrooms. General consensus: Wabi Sabi is *the*... More

This past weekend on a sunny afternoon, I visited this establishment for a co-worker's birthday. Since I was one of the first to arrive, I headed to the bar for a drink. While I waited, with my ID in hand, I was advised in a aggressive manner by the bartender that I will not be served until I removed my... More

We happened to be leaving nearby Ft. Lee and were looking for a nearby restaurant to sit down and relax and enjoy a nice meal - was this ever the best choice!! The staff gave an immediate welcoming southern hospitality. The food is a mixture of sushi and casual dining, but it tastes fantastic!! This is probably the best restaurant... More

Love the sushi and the atmosphere. We visit often as it's the best sushi in the tri-city/Richmond area. I've never been disappointed.

Went early Saturday evening to celebrate a friend's birthday. Sampled several different dishes with delicious sake. Everyone sampled various new creations plus the seaweed salad. We were also entertained by a very talented soloist. The dedicated staff made it an enjoyable evening for all. We will be back!
