The first time I walked in to Gingers Cafe and Grill it honestly mande me feel like I was back in Athens or Satinorni. The staff was warm and the cafe brought such memories. Now the food OUT OF THIS WORLD. There is nothing I...have not tried nor anything I would not get. I have gone for several years and just as in Greece it is a family. If I am in Corpus I will go to Gingers at least once and then take food and desert home. There have been several trips that going there was the main even. I have seen them grow in size but the warmth of the staff has never changed. As I tell anyone I know if your in Corpus Christi you gotta go to Gingers!More

This was my first time eating Mediterranean food in a very long time and I have only had it a few times total. Just giving some context to my limited experience. The restaurant is smaller, warm, and completely inviting. We ordered the appetizer sampler which...was great! Then my husband had one of the Asian cuisine dishes with chicken and I had the lamb shank. Both were cooked perfectly and had great flavor!!! We ordered the Baklava which neither of us cared for, but it could just be because it was something we never had before. The service was fantastic and the owners were flitting around as much as the waitstaff helping and talking to customers which I thought was great.More

had a major disconnect with the young hostess about seating and we decided to leave. The owner chased us outside and insisted we return. He seated us in a better spot. EXCELLENT food, including the best "bunny chow" I've had since being in Durban, S...Africa. Nice low key place with a wide menu. be forewarned it is BYOB. VEry impressed by the serving staff.More

Found the Ginger Cafe from a Tripadvisor review. A wonderful find. The food is incredible, lamb and chicken dishes are the best. The servers are super friendly and give great information about the menu. You need to bring a big appetite because the serving are...enough for two people. The food was so good we returned two days later to sample lunch. Both meals were the BEST!More

Saag Paneer was good. Rice flavor is on point. Chicken wrap was delicious. The chicken flavor was perfection and the garlic aioli complimented it well. Total Bill with two waters was $23.80. Waitress was kind, and didn’t hover.

Great food. There are several vegan options including a great combination appetizer plate including baba ghanouj, fava medames, dilma, falafel, hummus, and tabouli. The tabouli was especially good. The owner told us that all of their soups are vegan also. The Lentil was excellent.

My daughter has raved about this place for a very long time. She finally convinced us to try it. I’m so glad we did, wow what a great little hidden gem! We went one Sunday after church, it a small place in a strip mall,...the decor is ok, but we really didn’t go for the decor. We went for the food, They serve middle eastern type food, My hubs is a huge lamb lover. It is very hard to find good lamb. But he has now found his go to place. He ordered the lamb steak and was not disappointed. He said it was very tasty. He talked about it for days afterwards. I had the beef shawarma. It was very tasty. Served on a bed of rice. It had a very nice flavor and I literally cleaned my plate. I can’t wait to return and try one if their pasta dishes. The server was so nice, he remembers my daughter from her previous visits. He was a member of the family who owned the restaurant. He was very helpful explaining the dishes we were unfamiliar with. He was very personable and almost felt like he was a good friend by the end of the meal. My daughter said you can also bring your own wine, a feature she really likes as she likes to drink wine with her meals. I’m not a huge wine drinker so that wasn’t a huge deal to me, I really can’t wait to return to try even more from the menu, I have a feeling this will be our new “go to” place when we want to go out!More

This place always delivers good food, and friendly service, in a nice eating atmosphere, oftentimes with live music. The mixed grill and all of the lamb dishes are ordinarily extremely good, full of flavor, charred, and tender. Authentic baba ghanouj, and this place continues to...have among the best falafel I have had in the US (having been to the Middle East and North Africa).More
