The five stars are based on Lobster Bisque experience. It was creamy with generous serving of lobster mixed well into the Bisque. I think I tasted some sherry in the bisque, but the waitress wouldn’t confirm 😉. I’ve tasted Lobster Bisque in several states covering...all coasts of the U.S., this bisque is ranked in the top 5 of my list. Thank you to the chef for a wonderful experience.More

We had great service and were there a week after Niko`s reopened. It sounds like the owner, Niko, has been very generous to his employees; while the doors have been closed; above and beyond many owners. That is impressive to hear! I had great service...recently and sat at a bar booth. I was surprised the bar had people sitting in every chair and not every other chair but that is probably because it just reopened. I had stuffed flounder and my wife had the tenderloin and coconut shrimp. Our food was good and we had an appetizer tuna that was pretty good; not outstanding. My complaint is the green beans in my opinion are not good. They are greasy and don`t have a good taste. I suggest changing the green beans so they aren`t greasy ;which they shouldn`t ever be and the taste I don`t care for. For the price; I would think something as simple as green beans should be much better. Everything else was pretty good and we had a nice anniversary dinner.More

Very expensive but not all that. They use a soppin sauce that kills the steak. A little high on the hog.

We had lunch there yesterday and it was fantastic. Service was great, food was excellent and the atmosphere was outstanding. Very clean, upscale place without the upscale price. This place may very well become my favorite lunch place in Corpus Christi.

Niko is a wonderful place but fell short of customer service the bartenders at the bar a very rude, lack attention to detailed. I was very disappointed! My family and I come here to eat every Friday for the last 3 years and after this...visit we will certainly find another place for our Friday Family outing..It appalling at how distasteful, but almost horribly amusing your two young bartenders were. They certainly need to be retrained in customer service!!! You disappointed us!!!!!!More

If I want to spend quality time with my wife and kids, we go to Niko’s! It’s never a gamble but a sure thing when it comes down to fine food and quality service. If I’m on a budget, they have affordable stuff on the...menu that will still fill you up with the exact amount of satisfaction. When I feel a lil groggy I order the 22oz steak with all the trimmings and their mac and cheese is super delicious. I can’t say enough positive things about this restaurant. The bar is centrally located so the loud noise is not close to the booth seating NG where you can enjoy a conversation. Staff is a rarity of quality persons that aim to make your visit the best hands down. I prefer this steakhouse over Montana mikes, outback and saltgrass... the steaks are always tender and never tough. Hope this helps in your selection. Btw I eat here about three nights a month typically, why? Because it’s money well spent.More

We celebrated our daughter's birthday at lunch and James is an awesome server! He was quick, professional and great with suggestions. My daughter & I ordered an Amethyst Martini before lunch I took one sip & realized a big mistake. It tasted like cough medicine!...James suggested a fruity drink "Texas Accent" which was a better choice, then he didn't charge us for the drink that tasted bad. We ordered artichoke/spinach dip for an appetizer (very large serving-enough for 4 diners). Others ordered lunch specials: chicken Bellaire with 2 sides, a chicken Caesar salad with a side of broccoli, and a chicken fried steak with 2 sides. Fresh dark bread was also served, the artichoke/spinach dip was good on that as well in lieu of butter. All are superb choices, fresh, tasted, seasoned and cooked to perfection. It was for a special occasion this time, but I would visit again for 'date' night or just for a very good meal. This was my hubby & I first visit here. It is moderately/affordable priced. They certainly aim to please!More

Always nightly specials on drinks. Have been here for my anniversary for past few years. Great flavor on steak No A1 of Heinz 57 sauce necessary! Enjoy steak as cooked.

My family ate at this restaurant on Saturday following my sisters graduation. Everything appeared okay at first. They have a "dedicated gluten-free menu" which is just dirty laminated paper that was stapled together. It looked like someone typed it in a hurry and out it...went. I ordered the "prime rib", loaded potato, and green beans which was on the menu. It was way too salty but I ate all of it since I was hungry. The waitress didn't even put the check down and I was running to the bathroom. My mom confronted the "manager" who proceeds to tell me that everything I ate was fine. I can already tell you that it wasn't because my allergy and celiac disease were already in full effect. He then laughs and dismisses us. Another member of our party has a severe allergy and he started having reactions as well. We got in touch with someone more competent and it turns out BOTH menu items were not allergen free. I will never return to this waste of space. Allergies are not taken seriously here! Do not trust them with your well-being!More

Save your money dont go there. Its not a great place just expensive like it wants to be upscale. You dont use plastic souffle in an upscale place. SMH.

I am sure your mother would like it fine! I found it to be very good and it was relatively quiet the night we went.
