Not the cleanest or most modern place, but the food was pretty good. The fajita plate for two was plenty for two people.

Andrea, it's great to hear that you loved the Fajita Plate, especially! I hope to see you back for more. I have to disagree though, my restaurant is very clean. Yours, Marcus, Owner More

The restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel staff for dinner. We had a group of 12, so we expected that service was not going to be a challenge. However when we were forgotten it made our experience upsetting. The bus boy took our drink order and then it took the waitress 30 minutes to remember we were sitting... More

We're so sorry to hear if your table was forgotten -- I can understand your frustration here. We expect fast service for every table here, and anything less than that is below par. If you're ever in Corpus again, we hope that you can give us another chance. Yours, Marcus, Owner More

We were excited to return to Corpus Christi after 8 years of moving away. This restaurant we used to frequent when we lived there previously. It was very crowded for a Thursday night but we were less than impressed by our meals. Other than the salsa that came with the chips the food was bland for Mexican. The enchiladas were... More

Lori, first of all, thanks for remembering us after all this time -- welcome back to Corpus! We're disappointed to hear that you didn't enjoy the food this time around. While we've made a few changes for the better, we want to make sure that our food keeps getting better over time as well, and we appreciate your feedback. We... More

You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. But I must say, if there's one thing you should get, it's the queso. Mix in a bit of the homemade salsa for the most delicious thing your taste buds will ever encounter.

Eat here at least monthly, and have never been disappointed. The wait can be lengthy around dinner time, but, well worth it. Great food, drinks, and service.

Kikos enchiladas are the best I've found in this area. I'm from San Antonio originally and crave good Mexican food. Their enchiladas are large, full of cheese, and a very good chili sauce on top. I haven't tried this yet but their fried mushrooms look awesome and see a lot of people getting them (just doesn't go with Mexican food... More

I was on business travel and went here on a recommendation. I ordered the beef enchiladas. They put so much meat gravy on top that my plate was swimming. It was watery and tasted horrible. I also ordered 2 tacos and the meat had poor seasoning. The waiter was nice and offered to take it off my tab, but I... More

I'm sorry to hear that we didn't put our best foot forward on your visit, Rodrick. What you've described here certainly doesn't sound like us at all, and I feel confident saying that this doesn't represent a typical experience with us. We'd love another opportunity to prove it to you, and I hope you'll consider giving us another chance. All... More

Hadn't been there for a long time and decided to give a try again. The place is always busy so we expected outstanding fare. The chips were cooked beyond nice and the sauce was hot tomato based and nothing else(we usually get 2 sauces in the other restaurants we patronize). My wife got the cheese enchiladas and at best were... More

This place serves large portions of all your tex-mex favorites...great flavors and no holding back on all those ingredients that are not heart-healthy. The fried mushroom appetizer is a must, (an entire box of breaded and fried mushrooms served with a large bowl of spicy cheese conqueso)...Try the combination platter...with a little of everything, and enough for 2 or 3... We never hold back when it comes to food and I'm so glad you can appreciate that! Good call on the beer battered fried mushrooms, too -- a personal favorite for sure. All in all, I want to think you for the kind review and I do hope you'll be swinging back by again soon! Best, Marcus Owner More
