The close at 2:30 so go for breakfast or lunch. Food is really good. Had the blackened chicken sandwich and it is VERY tasty and the fries were terrific. The 2 trains that run around the restaurant are fun as well as advertisement for local companies. The service was a bit slow.

This is where the locals have breakfast and lunch. Good homestyle comfort food, and lots of it. They have a large and varied menu, and friendly and attentive staff.

The food was good home cooked diner food, but between the manager walking through every three minutes yelling "go Trump, he's going to make America great again" and the waitress not leaving enough room in coffee for creams as requested and treating me as if I was insignificant as a solo diner, I won't be back. It doesn't matter how... More

I love this place ! I don't even mind the line- it's worth it!! Whoever cooks this food is pouring her/his heart into it and it brings people back. My absolute favorite item is build your own hush browns . I usually build them with cheese, onions and jalapeños - mmmm!!!

Little quaint establishment with outstanding food. During our four day stay in Corpus Christi, we ate breakfast and lunch each day. The Mexican food was authentic, as well as the chicken fried steak. Deserts were over the top. Will dine here again when we return.

My husband had one of the egg dishes where you customize with bacon, toast etc and that was the ticket! I, on the other hand, decided to go with a NEW item listed on the menu. It was 2 fried tortillas, with beans, scrambled eggs and a ton of cheese melted together. My two little tortillas were more expensive than... More
