We try Thai food wherever we travel and have found exceptional Thai in places in Connecticut, Washington DC, and Alexandria VA. Thai Garden in Salt Lake City can go head to head with any of them. The food is great. Only difference with the others is that Thai Garden is not a real fancy place. Try the Pad Woon Sen or the Drunken Noodles - the flavor points are right on.

I had dinner at Thai Garden on Sunday. This place was very busy. The staff was friendly and very attentive. However, I had to wait quite long for my food. The food was good but I had better Thai food in other places. I would describe it as not very flavorful. But again it was a good experience in general

My first time eating Thai and I loved it here! The woman working named Mon was sooo sweet and helpful!! We loved our food and will definitely be back. It’s a small family spot, but it’s definitely worth a try!!

Third time I have visited and the food was very good and they went out of their way to make the food as I asked them.

Very good, not trying to undermine, but I have had much better. It did hit the spot, especially the sauces. Tried the ginger tea, I really enjoyed it (very very strong ginger, if you dare). Nam Tok (spiced beef salad) was a little lacking in flavor, but decent. Didn't care for the drunken noodles, but still used quality ingredients. Good service brings it up a star!

Generally good food and pleasant staff. Food could use more flavor. Pad thai was too sweet and could use more interesting spices. Great ginger tea.

We enjoyed lunch at the Thai Garden. The Staff are very friendly and the service is good, the atmosphere is good, and the food was very good. My wife is a Thai aficionado and she gives this rating.

Every time I have dinner at Thai Garden I am baffled that there is always an open table while surrounding restaurants have people lining up out the door. Thai Garden has never failed me or any of my friends of family. The menu is extensive, the staff are quick - polite- and very accommodating. For anyone new to the area this restaurant sits near one of Salt Lake's treasured 'old theaters' called The Tower that shows Indie films, documentaries, and many local Sundance screenings. Parking is limited since this is near a residential area. Thai Garden is great for date night, solo relaxing dinner,or take out. Food is outstanding!

I came here on a work break for dinner, and it was amazing. I sat outside on the patio with some trees and umbrellas to block the shade. The street is busy but not loud. The food was amazing and it had the perfect amount of heat. I got the red curry and white rice.

We enjoyed our lunch at the Thai Garden Bistro! The service was very prompt, and a dinner salad was delivered to our table almost within a minute of when we were seated. It was very fresh, with a great dressing. This was our first time at the Thai Garden. The food was very good for the price. We would definitely go back. Nice location!

This place is located pretty close to Liberty Park in Salt Lake City, we play tennis at the park often, so we sometimes go eat after tennis. Our friend took us out to this place after tennis the other day, she loves this place. We are not sure the name of food items we ordered as she ordered several items for all of us to share but everything we had tasted great, service was great. We had a good time chatting and eating good Thai food. It is located in the area called 9th & 9th (900S & 900E) of Salt Lake City, the only downside of the area is that it is very difficult to find a parking spot when you go there during lunch time or dinner time, but it's well worth the time and effort it may require to find a parking spot and walk down for a couple of minutes to the restaurant.

The service was quite good. Both the owner and the server were very attentive. Our meals were quite good. The Tom Kha noodles were plentiful and not too spicy. We had the calamari and the dumplings as appetizers. Both were good. The outdoor seating looked really nice but it was just a little too chilly to risk it.

The service was a bit slow - my husband ordered a dish to go (so he could make it to band practice) and it finally arrived after the rest of our food. He was none-too pleased, obviously. However, the food was great. The closest to the food we enjoyed in the North of Thailand that I've had in a minute.

There are several Thai restaurants in SLC and people have different favorites, but this is one we keep coming back to. The people who run it are friendly, warm, and welcoming, the restaurant itself is comfortable and pleasant, and the dishes are consistently tasty with high-quality ingredients. They also offer takeout which we appreciate.
