Amazing food in a sophisticated setting. One of the best seafood meals ever in this elegant landlocked restaurant. We didn't know what to think when we entered an empty place on a Saturday night, but decided to give it a try based on concierge recommendation....More

When a restaurant survives 40 years, they must be doing something right. The New Yorker does many things right. The ambience was elegant, the music was soft, light instrumental jazz, service was attentive and friendly, and the food was generally excellent. We both had the...More

After a long day at a graduation ceremony, my son and I were in the mood for a great steak dinner. A few people at the graduation told us to try the New Yorker Restaurant. It was a good decision. I was taken back at...More

The entry into this sultry restaurant is down the stairs and into the basement, which reminded me of some of my favorite Japanese restaurants in NYC. Right at the entrance is a small bar, great for after-show cocktails. Had a manhattan which was good (but...More

This is a small restaurant but very cosy one. The service is very good. The ambience is somewhat as its name says it, quite a new yorker. We the foie grass was good, although it could use some pear. The Maine Lobster & Shellfish Risotto...More

Clearly a $$$ restaurant ($56 for a 8oz steak, wine bottles upto $995) but very elegant. Went as a large business group. Had a back room (wine cellar) to ourselves. Ample menu choices including vegan dishes that satisfied all 15 of us. All dishes—appetizers, soup,...More

Located in downtown, the New Yorker restaurant is one of the most iconic places for dinner in Salt Lake City. They serve specials but the main menu still awesome. Iceberg salad and filet mignon are outstanding. Service is very good and the restaurant mood is...More

Potentially, this is a fine dining experience. The service was excellent and it is quite upscale with stain glass, shiny brass, and dark wood design. The portions are substantial and hearty. We wandered in on a cold night after theatre and found the response inviting....More

We went there for a business dinner with seven. Stuff mixed food and if you choose steak receiving wrong definition it is not what we expected in such an expensive restaurant. Prices in upper level. Valet parking in the meantime $8.
