This Italian restaurant has a very nice and quiet atmosphere. Very good service at the table. The Manager was very attentive to our needs, as was our server.
The food was good, but not amazing as pricing might indicate. Very unremarkable was the 4-cheese ravioli....Seemed dry with a bland heavy cream sauce. The mushroom risotto and white fish plate were very good. So were the desserts.
The Caesars Salad was made table side by our very friendly and good server, and was very good.
All in all, it was a good dining experience.More
The atmosphere is nice and quiet. The food was ok. Good, but the portion sizes are kind of small. The salad was small and we had to ask for bread and ask for either butter or olive oil to dip the bread in. The best...part was the small cup of hot chocolate at the end. That was delicious.More
My wife and I went here for dinner over the weekend and were greatly disappointed. She had a beet salad where the dressing of olive oil and a balsamic vinegar was terrible and I had the asparagus soup where it was cold and the consistency...of slime. Once the previous owner left the beauty of the food and service. Olive Garden is better and cheaper. When all of us go out for a good meal that is what we expect so when we don't get that why go back and give the restaurant a second chance. For just ordering the soup and salad it took about 20 minutes for it to arrive.More
Visited twice in one week because it was convenient for our hotel. On the first occasion we put the poor service down to our server having a bad day. On the second occasion we got the same server, although she didn’t remember us. Again the...service was poor, wrong drinks, wrong food, long waits - my dish was almost cold before my colleagues arrived. The food is fine if you like a lot of sauce, best to ask for it on the side if you don’t want your meat/fish to drown. A good selection of Italian wines which our server knew nothing about, and even brought the wrong one. Given the name of the place we were disappointed to find that they did no Tuscan dishes.More
This is a very nice downtown Italian restaurant. Good range in menu, excellent staff and a very delicious marinara. My only critique is that portions are some times more generous than they need to be and some of their food, particularly the antipasti we had...is---while delicious--lacking in delicacy. Things seem to be chunked when they could be sliced... A good example of this is their eggplant Parmesan starter. Though delicious, instead of some nice, thinly sliced pieces of aubergine fried and sauced it was cut more like a hockey puck. Also you don't need two whole tomatoes, again cut in big half chunks, with the delicious burrata they serve there. Apart from this minor flaw, it was a perfect meal and a great night.More
