Waitress was very fast with her job and both my order and my wife's order was wrong when brought to the table. My wife reordered and I went with the dish she brought because it was acceptable. Food was good, but it would be nice...to get what was ordered 1st try.More

If I had to pick one single thing to tell people to do while in SLC, this is it. Food was amazing, fun atmosphere, great service. Get a reservation, it will make your life way easier.

This establishment was highly recommended by others, so we decided to try it. We were greeted kindly by the hosts outside…the exterior of the restaurant is curiously covered in stickers, The area where the restaurant sits was a bit unexpected…it’s in a bit of a...residential area vs a commercial area. Our wait was billed at 30. Ins but only ended up being about 10…yay! It is a fairly small seating are. The service we received was superb. We did not have to wait for a server to greet us, nor did we have to wait for refills on beverages. The menu is massive and chock full of authentic fare. I can honestly say this was the best Mexican food I’ve experienced. Spiced perfectly. Don’t miss this place….it’s worth the stop.More

Hands down this is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. There was about a 35 minute wait on a Wednesday in the early evening, so be aware that this a popular restaurant. But it is well worth the wait. The restaurant has...a full menu - and contains items for less adventurous eaters as well as complex, delicious meals. The waiter, unprompted, brought us a plate containing samples of each and every mole sauce on the menu (8 or so in total) so we could make a good decision, and never rushed us. The moles were AMAZING. Each one had a wonderful blend of flavors and each was unique. I had a hard time choosing, but was very happy with my meal, as was everyone in my family. I'm very sad that I don't live in SLC and can't go back. I would be a regular there if I could.More

It was a great authentic feeling atmosphere with great food. We would return if we lived in the area. We are glad we went early evening because it was packed by 5:30pm on a Sunday evening.

Amazing Mexican cuisine! And we were lucky to come to the restaurant before the prime time and did not have to wait for a table (there was a huge line when we were leaving). We had guacamole tacos (my favourite), king prawns and some of...their MOLEs - everything just great. I strongly recommend this place!More

I have been looking forward to trying this place since we started booking our road trip. This is probably the best Mexican food we have ever had and the staff was amazing!! All the reviews talk about a long wait, we were told 25-30 minute...and had a table in about 15. Salsa was AMAZING. If I am ever back in SLC I will definitely be back.More

Very good menu with a modern flare to traditional Mexican food. Old style setting with a strong local feel. This place has been here awhile and for good reason. Very good food and friendly staff

Violently ill from the chicken mole at red iguana 2. I’m so sad this used to be a favorite. Service has gone down. When I asked for more salsa never got it. The chile relleno was bland and tasted like it was stuffed with stewed...tomatoes.More

Food and service was amazing! The selection of mole was incredible. I enjoyed the variety of dishes both traditional and unique!

Was def worth the wait. Everything was wonderful. Shrimp quesadillas, traditional beef hard shell tacos were by far the best I ever had

Mole is outstanding. Ask for the sampler plate to make your perfect choice. My favorite is Mole Coloradito!
