Holy yummy Mexican food! I love this place. It is a complete hole in the wall and looks like a dive, but the food won't disappoint. Don't let the external appearance of the building freak you out- the food is super tasty and the staff is really friendly and prompt. Definitely recommend this spot for visitors and locals alike!

We love Mexican food so we went here based on recommendation. It's ok. I definitely had better. Chips seemed like they were store bought. Chicken tacos only came with chicken. No cheese or lettuce. Fried ice cream was also a disappointment. Again I had better. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Not your typical restaurant. This place has more of a variety of Mole's and more items on which you can request Mole than I have ever since. It's one of SLC's gems. It's even been on Diners, Diners and Dives (where they featured Mole, I might add!)

This family-owned restaurant is hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant! While I do have some favorites, I have tried almost every dish on the menu and have loved each one. Usually a bit of a wait but it moves fairly quickly and is always worth it!

I really enjoyed the assortment of menu items available here. Service was courteous and efficient. The food was reasonably priced and we all received generous portions.

My favorite Mexican restaurant!! Try the chili verde chimichanga's.....oh SO good. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait but it's worth it. Service is fast and friendly.

A relatively short wait for the Red Iguana of fifteen minutes. We were consistently impressed with the staff. They were attentive, interactive and helpful with advice, if wanted. They brought a plate of the various mole sauces and explained each one. I got the turkey mole dish with the negro and the colaradito (sp?) along with flour tortillas. My husband... More

Excellent mole selection (there were 8 on the menu and 1 special). We shared one plate of a combination of two (an option which isn't on the menu so ask if you are interested) and it was perfect. We wanted desert too so we ordered the sopapillas which was a huge plate and only ok. The mole's were above average... More

The lady that sat us was angry toward her employees. Water was dripping on my wife from the ceiling and the mole' that was so popular was very so so....
