Hotel recommended to us when we got back from church. Very enjoyable. Serve complementary sweet rolls that were yummy. I enjoyed the crab omelet - delicious. Also loved the broiled tomatoes which were offered instead of potatoes.

Visited this restaurant for the second time on a business trip. Greeted by friendly staff, the restaurant was packed, always a good sign. Service was prompt and the menu extensive. Our waitress highlighted some specials. All dishes arrived promptly, our party consisted of 6, and to order. My dish was excellently cooked and well presented. Waitress was attentive during our... They have an excellent early bird that isn't all that early. I had the halibut fish and chips and my husband had the prime rib which he said was very good. The soup was tasty and huge the spinach salad was also tasty but drowning in dressing. Creme brûlée had good texture but was fairly tasteless. The sourdough bread is... More

My wife and ate breakfast at Market Street on a slow Friday morning, and were very pleased with the look/feel of the place, the service and the food. The menu offered many choices and the meal was served quickly. We both give Market Street 4+ stars…and recommend it highly (especially for breakfast). The lunch and dinner menus also looked appealing;... More

Was one of my favorite resturaunt for years. However they have raised their prices beyond the quality of the food. Choose the New Yorker which is owned by the same operator, Gastronomy. Although a higher priced resturaunt as well the food is far better than Market Street Grill

This place is mediocre at best. They have Alaskan King Crab on the menu for 69.00 for 2 legs. I thought to myself wow 69 dollars for 2 legs? really? So I asked one of the staff about it and he said they were huge. We went back the following day and when asking our waitress about them we found... More

We have been going here on and off for years. It is an enjoyable atmosphere, good clam chowder and sourdough bread. Seafood is usually fresh and good. I do not consider it to be a good value however. You do pay a lot for what you receive.

Market Street Grill or The Oyster Bar, you can't go wrong, with fresh fish and seafood, prepared to perfection. Ambiance, excellent service, great drink menu, the whole experience is a WOW! Be sure to become a member of The Gastronomy frequent diner club!

This place is always good, but I have never felt it was great. It is a fun atmosphere and they do have some great chowder. The seafood is good, but not amazing - we are in salt lake city, folks. Beef medallions were tasty, but tiny. If you have some green to spend and want a solid good dinner, it's... More
