Our service was fabulous and the food was great. We did the four course meal for two and it didn’t disappoint. We ended with the Bananas Foster melting pot and it was delicious. So fun!

Never again 3 people four courses 6:30-9:30 spent sitting and hostage waiting. You cook your food so first I don’t mind dipping but dry bread and raw vegetables in cheese can do at home. I cook my meat and hope it’s right on their tiny...pan in front of me with three people no room so three pieces each at a time. 230 bill with a tip they added in on their calculator. Never again. Robbery and bad food Desert rice Kristy treat, marshmallows, banana, pineapple in a tiny plate you dip in chocolate. Never abs if you do it’s a waste of 3 hours waiting for good food. Only small spot was a fresh salad that was ok.More

We are four old people that got treated like old trash. Our waiter never checked on us. He just zoomed by and I had to flag him down. We had never eaten at this restaurant and his explanation of the food etc was fast, short...and useless. We ordered four entrees and our vegetables were 3 pieces of broccoli and 3 potatoes. We had to ask for more. We were also brought small dishes of sauces which lasted all of five minutes. The worst thing was we got one burner with one small pot. We Had 12 forks in this one small pot. What a mess. WE NEVER were asked if we wanted a 2 burner table and two pots. I looked around after we ate and there were plenty of empty tables with two burners. Again we had never eaten there and did not know we had to ask for what seemed like common sense. All this for the low low price of over two hundred dollarsMore

We went to have dinner for my birthday after seeing the menu and all the cheese involved in the photos I was really exited to go since I’m a cheese lover, I honestly thought it was a joke when they brought to our table a...tinny portion of fondue but even more shocking when we realized that was going to be the only cheese we were getting, they brought some pieces of raw broccoli and 4 to 5 pieces of badly cut dry carrots along with leftover cubes of bread, after the ridiculously minuscule amount of cheese was gone a weird broth came along with cubes of chicken, meat , shrimp a couple of mushy potatoes and some oxidized mushroom. One of the worst diners I have ever had. This place is too overrated. we ended up paying $150.00 for some generic mediocre food and poor service. DON’T waste your money if I knew it was going to be this bad I would’ve done the same thing at home but way betterMore

My wife and I went for Valentines Day and it was a wonderful experience. The ambiance, service and food was worth every penny. We did the 4 course meal and loved every minute of it. The melted cheese was delicious, we had fun cooking our...own meat in a pot of broth and my wife loved the chocolate dipping with all the treats. I highly recommend going at least once to have the experience.More

Pros: It is a unique dining experience. The hostess was polite and informative. Cons: expensive for the quality of food, weak overpriced cocktails, atmosphere, inattentive waiting staff, and cleanliness of the restaurant. With the tip we spent $150. That included two 4 course meals, 2...beers and 1 cocktail. I wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone able to afford dinner within this price range. There are many other options available.More

My husband and I were on a special date to celebrate our 43rd anniversary the night we went to the Melting Pot. We had eaten there before, and at that time, we ordered the standard 4-course meal. But, we really prefer cheese fondue with raw...vegetables, apple, and bread cubes. With the waiter's help, we figured out that if we ordered four servings of this delicacy, we would end up with enough to have an entire meal of it. At this place and for us, the valet parking is the best alternative. This restaurant doesn't open for dinner with valet parking available until 5 PM. Prior to using this service, my husband had circled the block unable to find a place to park. Only street parking is available in this downtown location. The valet service is $8 + tip. Having asked for a table, we were seated next to one of the front windows, which afforded us a pleasant view of the city street. We couldn't help but be happy that our needs were met, and the service was both friendly and attentive. The waiter took control of preparing our cheese fondue in front of us, as there are heating surfaces in the center of each table in this restaurant. We were given several fondue forks each, as well as regular utensils. The atmosphere was intimate and clean. The restrooms were spotless. This entire experience was very pleasant indeed. We would return, but only for special occasions, as it is pricier than our normal restaurant choices.More

So we made reservations for New Years Eve. Lots of options but because our friends have never been we opted for the price fixe dinner. Normally when we go to one of the MP locations we just do lots of drinks, the cheese and dessert....But because it’s a holiday night we had no choice. But then!!!!!!! The bill comes. 20% already added on and the waiter adds another 5% thinking we won’t notice on the palm pilot like checkout system. When we bring it up he takes a major attitude. The manager claims it’s a default. Be careful....always check your bill.More
