Quick service where the staff will customize your burritos and tacos. Quality ingredients and great flavor.

I had just finished a tough outdoor soccer game nearby and I was famished. My wife suggested eating at the Barbacoa Mexican Grill and I agreed. It was near closing time, and I know the staff was interested in closing up and going home to their families, yet they served us with enthusiasm and energy. All the food items on... More

This is one of my favorite places. All the food is good, and I think it's better than Chipotle. Staff very nice too. Favorite is chicken burrito or sweet pork tacos. They also have really great queso.

Chipotle style restaurant, but not that good. The place was clean and had good service, but the food just wasn't all that great.

Great burritos with many meat choices. Big burritos with lime rice, choice of about 8 meats, cheese if you want -- I skip it -- 3 types of salsas -- I get all three -- lettuce, tomato and sour cream sauce. The salads are also good. Basically just a burrito over more lettuce. The salad is about 300 less calories... More

Some dismiss this as a "wanna be" of a major trendy chain that serves fresh Mexican. That chain can learn a few things from Barbacoa. Their prices are very reasonable, ingredients are quite fresh, what is cooked looks - and tastes good- and the serving staff is very friendly. All of which makes for a refreshingly pleasant lunch experience. Worth... More

Since we got Into town - we had our eye on this place hoping it would be very similar to qdoba or Chipotle. Boy were we wrong!!!! We split a burrito bowl and got the chips and queso. Everything about the burrito bowl was cold. The rice was if they cooked it that morning and it say there for 10... More

I stop in when I am in a hurry. This place is close to where I live and very fast. The staff is great, always smiling. The food is just ok, one of those very few ingredient places mixed in different ways so you can call it something different.

Hit and miss with the menu. But go a few times and you'll final find a favorite that you'll like. Simple decor and menu makes it a no brainer for quick and easy.

Highly recommended local alternative to the Chipotles of the world... I actually prefer the food by a wide margin, in fact. Excellent pre/post ski fill-up with convenient Fort Union or Holladay locations. Pretty friendly staff who appreciate a little espanol!
