We were very impressed with this place! We ate out on the patio, had wonderful service, food was great & was a very relaxed experience. We were in town for a convention so we'll keep the Oasis in mind when we return to SLC. We...highly recommend eating here!More

The food and staff were excellent. If you like Mediterranean food and eat healthy, you should visit the Oasis cafe. We stumbled onto it and loved it. Great for a date or a family visit. The staff is super nice and friendly. They also have...a good beer selection.More

We had a 10:15 reservation on Thanksgiving. We were out and about early so we got to the Oasis about 9:50. It was less than half full. Many tables available! We told the hostess, Jade we were early but would like to be seated if...possible. She immediately said no you need to wait for your reservation time. We sat patiently for 15 minutes without anyone coming into the place but several guests leaving. I asked Jade why we were not being seated and she said there were no "two tops" available even though we could see many that were open in the half empty restaurant. I sat back down and a party of two walked in and were seated immediately. We had both had enough and walked up and said we want to be seated now. Jade said nothing but took us to a table that had been sitting empty for 30 minutes. I asked to speak to the manager who did nothing but defend Jade and make excuses. We ate our meal, which, by the way was just average. Not bad, certainly not great. We sat at our table for 30-40 minutes and finished our meal and left. During that time a party of two and a party of 3 came into the place. When we left the restaurant was way over half empty. Jade's unfriendly and frankly dishonest attitude ruined our experience at the Oasis Cafe.More

Organic doesn’t mean dirt and flies. We dined last night at the Oasis, one of our regular date night restaurants, although we haven’t been there in over a year. My dinner was delicious as usual (prawns) but after we left my husband told me that...his arugula salad was gritty, as if the greens hadn’t been washed. What was really awful was the flies in the restaurant. I actually had a fly land on my pasta and it wouldn’t leave. I had to remove the piece of pasta from my bowl and put it on another dish. Meanwhile we both had to continuously waive our hands over our plates to keep other flies from landing on our meals. It was truly obnoxious. I almost knocked over my water while waiving flies away. Truly a disappointing experience at the Oasis.More

We ate a late lunch here while on vacation in Salt Lake. It was about a half hour wait, so we walked around the store that’s attached to the restaurant. Clean restaurant, store, & bathrooms. The restaurant has outdoor seating and indoor seating. The food...was good/decent. Nothing to get super excited about, but it was good.More

Amazing food with very nice atmosphere! We had the medallions and the halibut. Both were very tasty. Presentation was perfect. Highly recommend if you’re in Salt Lake City.

After doing brunches here we had enjoyed, we were really disappointed with our dinner here. The best part were our appetizers. We should have stopped there. My cocktail was about as bad as I have had in years. My main course (fish) was mostly over...done, and dry. The risotto was pretty much flavorless. More like a bland sticky rice than risotto. Our service was slow. 20 minutes to get cocktails. We may go back, but only at lunch time, and hope for the best.More

I provided more details on their Facebook page but I was made to believe I was wanted there by at least 2 servers a manager. From the first interaction at the counter where a server was making a cup of coffee looked at me and...ignored me. My order was taken by a server indifferent to my order. I switch tables in patio unaware by no signage that I couldn't do that and I was spoken down to by the manager until I took the to pack up my things minutes later and explained why I was leaving. This was ridiculously bad service, the latte and vegie sampler (aka coleslaw) was not worth $17 on my debit card and the $5 cash tip.More

Excellent food and service. We had an amazing dinner in the outdoor seating area while visiting our daughter in SLC. We had a variety of entrees ordered, and every single one was superb. Out of a two week road trip to numerous places, Oasis Cafe...was hands down the best dinner. Can’t wait to go back on our next visit.More

We were traveling through town and have 2 gluten free eaters. We found this place on trip advisor and decided to try for breakfast. We ordered 2 gluten free Oasis breakfast sandwiches, the French toast on sourdough and the German Buttermilk Pancake. Plenty of food...for everyone to be full. We all enjoyed our meals. Coffee was good and our server was friendly and attentive. There was an option to sit in or outside. Yes, try this cafe!More

I would Definitely choose a different place to eat. There was chewing gum stuck to the bottom of my plate that was not mine. Then the gum proceeded to stick to my finger nail. Unacceptable.... The manager Stephanie is very unprofessional we tried a second...time today to give away says cafe another chance. Got the same waitress?? Misty said OH. you're the lady that tried to get a meal for free last time??? I said no I'm the lady that got gum stuck to her finger from a plate that came straight from the kitchen.NEVER EVER I MEAN EVER GOING TO THIS PLACE AGAIN.More

While in SLC for a family event , we stopped at Oasis Cafe for a casual brunch. I have been thinking about the salmon with lavender polenta cake for weeks and suggested the location for the 6 of us. The cafe did an excellent job...of social distancing everyone with inside and outside dinning and wearing masks. The food was delicious and we tried something new that was yummy, a German baked pancake. I highly recommend this cafe and the adjoining bookstore.More

So my wife and I stopped in for lunch based on the reviews I read. First major problem you will experience is the parking. Very limited just east of the entrance and off street parking just as difficult (2 hour limit during peak times). Once...inside you see the hostess and are seated straight away or you get your name on the list. Our wait was no more that 15 minutes at best. Once seated our server Connor showed up ready to help us with recommendations. We both ordered hot tea (Cardamom Cinnamon for me and Celebration for my wife) which was very good. I chose the Vegetable grain burger which when you read the menu it’s like WOW! I mean basil aioli, sprouts, tomato, swiss cheese, avocado. You would think this is going to be the Rolls Royce of veggie burgers. Folks it turned out to be a Chevy instead. It was blah. Lacked that SHAZAM flavor I was hoping for. On the plus side the spinach and avocado salad on the side was off the charts! Super tasty, excellent vinaigrette, and much better than the burger. My wife had the Strawberry Arugula salad with added chicken and it was basically your standard run of the mill salad. Nothing really standing out on that order. So was the Oasis that desert Mecca you must stop by or just a mirage? For us I think we’ll pass this one next time on our travels in search of food and drink in Utah.More
