The food here is incredible! I've been twice now in a group setting where we sample each other's plates, and every dish I've tried has been to die for. The beer selection is also vast (as well as other alcoholic beverages), so you can find pretty much anything you're looking for. They also have a jazz band on certain nights.

We've finally found a place in SLC for our Cajun fix. All the favorites are here, jambalaya, crawfish etouffee, gumbo, and catfish. Seasonings are spicy without being overpowering and portions are very generous so we could enjoy the same for lunch the next day. The alligator cheesecake appetizer is a unique treat. Beer variety is outstanding and waitstaff is very... More

We decided to eat at the Bayou because we were attending a concert across the street at the State Room, so it was convenient and we heard good things about it. My husband is from Louisiana, so he was very excited about the offerings on the menu. There were 7 of us for dinner - all friends. It was very... More

Four of us went there for a late supper and our waitress was magnificent. She took our tired blabbering very well and had no qualms about choosing beers for us. AND her suggestions were awesome. It was a great atmosphere, great food and really good beer. I would definitely recommend it and I hope to go there again if I... More

This was a charming restaurant - laid back and casual with exposed brick walls - filled with French Quarter decor and atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was amazing. We asked if the chef was from New Orleans and was told that the owners were not but had trained there - it was easy to... More

I love the Bayou!! The food is always always amazing. The staff is phenomenal. I've been there tons of times and have never been disappointed. The beer list is amazing and the waitresses will help you pick a good one out. I suggest the fish balls, spicy fettuccine, and the tuna tacos

This restaurant offers many advantages which include delicious food with a focus on Cajun cuisine, very efficient and friendly servers, and a fun atmosphere. An additional advantage is that it is very close to the Grand America Hotel.

My wife and I were looking for a new sports bar to watch the game between Utah and BYU. Arriving just before kick off we were greeted by a very pleasant young lady who seated us immediately. We beat the rush. And our seat choice allowed for a very good view of the tv and the rest of the bar,... More
