I love Log Haven, The food is always and consistently reliably fabulous. The service is top notch and the drive up is not that far out of town and really lovely. If you are looking for a peaceful, calm, sweet experience be it romantic or otherwise - this is the spot. I have been going there for so many years... More

We came here for our anniversary. This place, especially the courtyard in summer, is gorgeous. It's up Millcreek Canyon a ways, but not too far for dinner. The food and service were fantastic.

Log Haven is the place to go in SLC for a very special occasion. The setting in Millcreek Canyon is beautiful with a waterfall directly across the street and a small one landscaped on the back patio. The food is excellent and the service very good. It is expensive, but worth it.

Very nice place to visit. Weather for some alone time with a date or for a company party.I can't decide if it's more beautiful in the winter or summer. With the mountain location it's wonderful any time of year.

The entire time is an experience. Set in a beautiful, log lodge setting, nestled in the beautiful Millcreek canyon, just getting there is a beautiful beginning. Service is as good as you get. Very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I have never had a bad meal here. It is a bit pricey for most Utah standards, but compared to... More

As locals, we get to Log Haven 3 or 4 times per year. It is one of our favorite special occasion spots. The food and the wine list are exceptional. The restaurant is warm, cozy and intimate. The scenery is stunning. We have attended several corporate events there, as well as wine-tastings. All of these were very enjoyable. Our favorite... More

If they would finally do a remodel! This place is getting really outdated, it's dingy inside, feels oppressive, dark and dirty. The carpet...enough said! Why have a carpet in a restaurant? Impossible to keep it clean. But I love the food, and I love sitting outside. That is the highlight of the place. When there are no tables outside we... More

We enjoyed a lovely dinner. Great food with an emphasis on game. (I had the goose which was wonderful.) The appetizers were excellent and perfect for sharing...but I really didn't want to share. Really. It ain't cheap but the prices are in-line with similar restaurants in the area.

We returned to Log Haven primarily because our daughter was visiting from Minneapolis, and I thought its unique rustic elegance would be a special treat. Not only was the Millcreek Canyon drive wondrous, but the enchantment of the Log Haven setting fantastic. This is not a Disneyesque re-creation of a mountain retreat, the history of Log Haven is displayed in... More

The place is beautiful and the staff great. However we felt the food was overpriced for the quality. Salmon was overdone and the veal was dry. Salad was not included with most entrees and was the best part of the meal. We will not be back.
