Several of the items we had were outstanding - Brussels sprouts, queso flameado, scallops, and young greens salad. The scallops were very tasty and cooked perfectly. However, the overall scallop entree was marred by the sides. One tasteless, the other, Japanese squash, was inedible for...More

Not sure how this was a “best of Utah” restaurant several years running unless: 1) it was many years ago (the maitre d/host was not sure of their award years) 2) the same folks who vote Olive Garden as “best Italian” also voted for this...More

I make an annual pilgrimage to Log Haven for my birthday dinner because it is always, always the best. The ambiance is calm and lovely and the scenery gorgeous with the snow covered trees and icicles. Excellent wine list.

Log Haven is cozily nestled in the trees of Millcreek Canyon just east of Salt Lake City. It offers a quiet, intimate atmosphere and excellent food. The service is friendly and we didn't feel rushed or 'processed.' A hidden gem; highly recommended.

This is a nice restaurant in a GREAT setting in Mill creek canyon. In the summer you can sit on the patio and in the winter you can look across the road at a beautiful view with a waterfall and a babbling brook.
