Went there with a small group of people and none of us were impressed. Service was slow and not efficient at best and good was ok. The rating made us expect more but we're disappointed. Nothing special.

Tried to go to the Red Iguana but it was too crowded. Pleasantly surprised to find the Blue Iguana (no relation to the red one). The house margarita was fine. The menu was quite extensive. Got chicken tamales and they were delicious. My husband, teenaged sons and senior citizen father were all happy with their food as well.

I dont have any complaints. Our food was decent. (Not the best I've had, but far from the worst)The host's at the front were very welcoming, and the place had a neat atmosphere. ( I loved the cool arch and walk way down into the restaurant. ) Our waitress was nice and efficient, but again not the best not the... More

I usually dump hot sauce all over my Mexican food to give it flavor, but my vegetarian Blue Iguana tacos were so sublime that I did not alter them in any way. The hot sauce on the table was tasty, and my virgin margarita was tangy. The service was impeccable. Recommended.

Was there during a busy time and still had awesome service and quick turn around from order to food on the table. Loved the salsa, had a flavor that I had not experienced before. Definitely worth visiting when in SLC!

I don't know how I haven't been to the Blue Iguana in SLC, only Park City, It's kind of hidden and down a flight of steps. Food was good, service good. I didn't think it was exceptional but the atmosphere was great for talking with friends.

Had lunch at the Blue Iguana and it was excellent authentic Mexican fare. The shrimp on the salad was well seasoned and very tasty. The salad dressing was different but good. The decor was authentic as well.

Just like I'm sure thousands of others who do not have the patience to wait outside the excellent Red Iguana, we went here instead. The place looks fun. It's big. The decor is very nice. They even have a nice waiting room with chips and salsa. The food was way sub par. I wasted my money on the Amarillo Mole.... More

Visited today. Bland food. I ordered a Chile verde burrito--which had a pepper beside it on the menu. It was barely flavourful, and certainly had no kick. The flour tortilla was soggy. Margaritas. I could taste the tequila, a positive, but the second one was sweeter than the first and not so good. Service was fine. Atmosphere: bright and cheerful... More
