I just have visited this place and I am amazed by the quality of the food. In my travels I have visit many good restaurants and this have no reasons to be ashamed. I would rate this at the same level as The Modern in...NYC. Place is a little pricy, but hey - they even have Orphan Barrel Forager’s Keep 🤤. Staff were nice and proffesional and even prepare dessert that was not in a menu, when I ask to. Overall 5/5 :)More

Have only had breakfast here while staying at the Kimpton Monaco. Every dish has been beautifully done. The oatmeal and fruit is my go-to. Highly recommend.

You have an unfriendly guy who kind of looks like Santa Claus at your door. I would get rid of him. Scallops were well done! Congrats. Bone Marrow was cold and pretty terrible - fortunately your waiter took it back and didn't charge us. The...cheese board was OK - break again was I think supposed to be warm, but pretty cold by the time we got it. (I understand - it's Covid time - unfortunately, your restaurant wants to charge high end prices (which I get), but then the service and all needs to line up to make it work). A blueberry type cocktail was great! And then the next morning... was the worst - with getting ready to drive cross country with a nice cup of coffee and fresh scone - to find out ten miles out that I have been sold at least a day old, possibly older?, scone for $5. Boo Hiss. I have written for a refund - (I know it sounds fussy, but really? A $5 stale pastry - who does that?More

Candidly, I wasn't expecting too much from this restaurant due to the appearance and the fact that it was located in our hotel, but the weather was cold and we were lazy so we made a reservation despite it being labeled a "cocktail bar" on...Yelp and Google Maps. Let's just say we were very surprised and this meal turned out to be one of the best on our west coast adventure. I will admit that the service was a little lacking but our waiter was covering the entire floor alone (thanks Covid) and he was doing the best he could. We loved the tempura veggies, the pork chop and the elk. All perfectly prepared and delicious. Also loved the "Fancy Pants" cocktail - was fun and new as you don't see Ube in a cocktail every day. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return on future trips to SLC.More

While staying at the Monaco we have already enjoyed 2 meals here. The grab and go breakfast was great. The seasonal pumpkin scone hit the spot as well. The summer tomatoes salad and burger were delicious and perfectly prepared. The hostess was very friendly, took...my order and had it ready in no time. See you for dinner tomorrow.More

We had a business lunch here and it was really delicious. Their burger with bison was great. The prices were a bit high, especially the drinks.

We stayed in the hotel so tried out the restaurant. No regrets! Great service, fantastic steak and elk and a great selection of cocktails made for a fantastic dinner experience.

Make a reservation ahead of time as there’s a wait. The staff were friendly and the food was good, but a bit pricey for what you get in my opinion. Would really only recommend to someone looking for more upscale dining.

The tempura veggies were great. But the calamari was mostly veggies. The staff were great (except the waiter that left before we finished ordering). I would return but mostly for the wine list. Not food

We returned to Bambara for brunch with high expectations after several years. What disappointment. Service was mediocre. We sat there for 65 min waiting for our food and drinks. Food finally arrived but was incomplete. It took an additional 15 min to get a salad...and extra avocado. We are talking about brunch. Not a very elaborate meal. The Pellegrino bottle never arrived. Not even an apology. I must admit the food was good but the service was not goodMore

I would say no unless the child is quite mature. In all the times we have dined at Bambara I don’t recall ever seeing any children. There is no children’s menu. Food is very gourmet. As I wrote in my review, service can be... More
