Went there with friends and ordered chicken marsala. Chicken was done perfectly and the mushrooms were delicious. It was served on top of mashed potatoes. Why?

The food is good. It's obvious that they take the time to avoid offering the usual cafe fare. They work hard to come up with innovative recipes, most of which are very good. It can take a bit longer than some places for the food to arrive, but I don't hold it against them too much. Often, good food takes... More

Translates to "Very Good" in English. This restaurant just a 5 minute walk from Temple Square is quite a find. The interior is industrial looking, brick walled, has a very nice covered outdoor patio and a wonderful friendly staff. Jake, our waiter, helped with the draft beer selection. Their menu is not your basic red pasta, pizza, chicken Parm sandwich... More

The outdoor patio was relaxing and made you feel like you were in an Italian bistro. I had the Orecchiette Al Salsiccia with their house Zin. The entree was excellent, not too spicy. The Zin was okay. Service very attentive without being overbearing. Very much recommended.

My husband and I wanted a nice meal on our last night of vacation. Loved the outdoor patio. The tables are spaced far apart so it is quiet and private. Nice wine selection. My husband loved the filet medallion special and I had in house made pasta that was delicious. If we are ever back in town we will be... More

First night in town and was excited to eat outside. Nice environment out around a pool, rather large space could be broken up a bit more but had a nice feel. The ravioli zucchini appetizer was tasty, bit rich certainly a share dish. Homemade parpadelle al sugo was delicious and even better the next day. The steak was good but... More

While visiting Salt Lake City we met up with local friends who recommended having dinner at Caffe Molise. We were not disappointed. We had reservations and were seated immediately at an outside table. Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful in explaining the menu. We all chose pasta dishes which were uniformly excellent. Portions are substantial so we were... More

The first time I dined in Caffe Molise was in 2014, my husband brought me there and I remembered it was right after we registered our marriage at the courthouse in SLC. After been waiting more than a year to come back here we didn't wait too long to go there again. Our fave last time was the brunch! Sadly,... More

Nice atmosphere, not noisy even though busy. Not the standard Italian menu, but quite delicious. I had eggplant "meatballs" which came with polenta and a green salad. The salad was sprinkled with parmesan and had a nice balsamic dressing. The polenta was perfectly cooked and the eggplant balls were tasty and good texture. Finished with the chocolate cake, which was... More

Very pleasant outside park-like dining setting. Nicely private tables - perfect for catching up with friends and colleagues. (And a pleasant inside space as well). Food was good (orcchiette pasta, gnocchi), although not necessarily memorable. Dessert chocolate cake was a bit stale and dry. All in all a pleasant experience.
