We had to drop by to pick up some dessert before heading to our hotel. We got a brownie, a tart, a chocolate cheesecake and a lemon cranberry scone for breakfast. We thought the brownie was the best item we got. The rest were just okay.

Great gluten-free treats! We ordered the ginger cookie, lemon cupcake, and a chocolate peanut butter bar. Everything was absolutely excellent. Looking forward to a return.

Went to City Cakes today and got a vegan red velvet cake with chocolate frosting. I Am not vegan but I sure thought that that cake was very good Would go again for my vegan relatives. Well worth it.

I've been a City Cakes customer for many years, and I just never learn. Unfortunately, I am forced to go due to my daughter's food allergies. They've made birthday cakes for me that virtually fell apart, had dried out cupcakes or most recently they forgot my order! I drove 45 minutes to pickup a birthday cake for my daughter, that was ordered weeks ago, and when I get there, I was informed they never made it. I have a birthday, and no cake. What did they offer? Pickup one of our leftovers and we'll give you half off. I bid you farewell City Cakes.

Great Vegan Bakery and Cafe

I LOVE City Cakes! Their regular sugar cookies are the best sugar cookie I've ever had, vegan or otherwise. Their soft serve ice cream is amazing, too! They also make an in-house cheese sauce that saved me when I was a new vegan. Since I live so far away, I don't go as often as I'd like, so whenever I do, I buy a round of food and about 60 bucks worth of treats. That's how much I love it. Aside from the sugar cookie and ice cream, literally everything I have tried there, I love. And I've tried a lot by now. The only "con" I can think of is I live 45 minutes away from the Draper location and about an hour from the SLC one, and the products I can get from Harmons are all GF and I prefer all the gluten versions, personally.

City Cakes Bakery & Café sells vegan and gluten free baked goods. My bf and stopped by here for breakfast the morning of our flight back home to Florida. I wanted to take this place back home with me. We ordered waffles, which were made there, and we also order a few baked treats to go along with veggie chili and lemonade. The veggie chili is so delicious! The blackberry lemonade actually tasted like cranberry juice, which was just strange, and the waffles were too sweet and just flat out gross in our opinion but everything else tasted great! The customer service was great, everyone was so nice and informative.

Taste how good vegan and gluten free baked goods can be.

One of the joys of traveling is visiting places one has never seen before. This is especially true for places one never knew even existed. For us such a place is City Cakes where edible delights are produced totally vegan and gluten free. One may wonder how this is even possible, but here one can see all sorts of cakes, cookies, cupcakes, scones etc.as they are being made. The best news of all is that everything tastes as good as it looks. Take the time to check into this place when in Salt Lake City. You will be glad you did.

Great vegan bakery

Our last stop in Utah before heading to the airport was at City Cakes for breakfast. Even though it was in a commercial area we got taken aback by the variety and quality of their products. We had bagels and potatoes with vegan cheese and decided to get some stuff for the flight (garbanzo bean salad and a few cup cakes ) . All delicious !!! Service was friendly and pricing very reasonable . Clean space . Loved it.

All Vegan!!!!!! Mac and cheese so good. Nachos so good. Chicken salad pita so good. Muffins and donuts excellent. Cheese sauce is amazing. A little drive from Park City but worth it to try.

Best VEGAN carrot cake I've ever had

Natural Grocers in Ogden started carrying weekly deliveries of City Cakes and my husband and I are oh so glad! Tonight we had the most moist, delicious morsel of vegan carrot cake. The walnuts, frosting, and moistness of the cake were out of this world. My husband and I both agree it was the best ever. Also we tried the vegan vanilla cake and it was divine. I can only imagine how amazing everything else City Cakes would have to offer would be just as decadent 👌🏻

Dropped in just before closing and was overwhelmed at the Gluten Free selection of just about every baked treat you can imagine. I was like a kid in a candy store, I bought one of everything and two of several others. The sweet young lady was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to explain the dedicated equipment used for GF baking. Incredible service but couple that with the delectable flavor from the two cupcakes I ate, makes me envy not living closer. Wow!! The creation put into each one proves there is serious passion going on behind the glass. It's not only GF, its a cafe and they have even more choices. We will be back for their homemade Mac & Cheese! If your within 50 miles you owe it to yourself to drop in!

This is a neat little cafe and actually large bakery. They have a few tables inside and outside. All vegan, lots of different choices. They have a small menu to eat in with a few breakfast choices. Service is super friendly. We'll be back.

Beautiful Bakery on display

I have to stop by this all vegan patisserie every time i come to SLC. The sweets are either on par with or better than ones you might find at a traditional bakery, and many are available gluten free. The full size cakes are also impressive, and will have your friends swooning!

Vegan paradise of pastries!

I stop here every time I get up to SLC. They have a few breakfast items, but what I really look forward to are the dynamite macaroons! Your friends won't believe that everything made in house is free of animal products, and most can be made gluten free also. The huge kitchen is on display to showcase their artistry and the sheer volume of wonderful treats that flow from the ovens to the front counter. Thank You, City Cakes for making it easy to stay Vegan!

Oh wow, yum, yum, yum! We had the lemon cupcakes at City Cakes in Salt Lake City, Utah. These cupcakes were amazing! They were beautiful and moist and I could have eaten more than one!
