This is a local gem, one of the places we are always looking for. We've sorta become regulars here and have NEVER been disappointed. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and a delight. We refer people here as often as possible. The rice is incredible,...no matter what it's served with, it complements that item. The fries are coated, fried, and crisp, a real treat, especially compared to the overcooked, soggy, mushy fries served at so many fast food places. The pita is fresh, soft, and tasty. The salads have a wonderful vinegar and oil along with the right sprinkle of crumbled feta cheese. The lemon rice soup offers a wonderful surprise of flavor. The chicken and pork shish kebabs are tender and perfectly cooked, not dry or crusty. The Tzatziki sauce is a perfect dip for the kebabs. That covers just what we had last night. We savored it. My meal had several distinct flavors: fries, rice, pita, chicken, pork, Tzatziki, and fry sauce. It was an adventure in flavor and texture... all fresh. This place is a marvel and worth whatever it time and effort it takes to get there. Warning: the restaurant is NOT open on weekends, so plan ahead.More

A Greek friend of ours took us here the other day. We were somewhat disappointed because we were expecting a sit-down restaurant with table service and this turned out to be a fast food place. That being said, the food was good. The place is...certainly popular. It was packed when we were there. I was just in Greece last year though and I just can't seem to get very excited over this place. If you're looking for Greek fast food though, it's not bad.More

We've been here a number of times and thought it worth reporting our experiences. We have eaten inside the restaurant a few times, but the dining area is limited, the tabletops are stainless steel, and it seems to always be chilly, so we generally take...our food out. We have tried several menu items, just out of curiosity. We have never been disappointed. We have our favorites, primarily the Souvlaki, but we don't limit ourselves to just those items. They have great fries, salad, and rice. About the rice: it's the best I can remember eating. Its moist, tender, and in served with a very flavorful set of savory flavors. I can't remember ever enjoying rice like I do the rice from Greek City. This restaurant is worth a try, but we warned that they are NOT open on weekends.More

This place has THE best french fries ever!! The burgers are huge & awesome. I hear the selection of Greek food is just as good if not better but I'm more into the fries & burgers. You can order ahead, drive up or sit &...dine. I work nearby so I come here oftenMore

This place used to be in mall downtown. We found it by accident and have been there a few times. It's easy to forget it's there because it's not high profile. We've taken a number of people there and they have all raved. They have...American hamburgers, etc., but their Greek specialties are what you want to try. We've tried them all and can endorse them whole-heartedly. I generally hate rice. I mean why eat something that has no color, no flavor, nothing special texture? I still hate rice... except that from Greek City Grill. It has a mild lemony taste, smooth as pudding, and an aroma that is enticing. Yes, that's rice I'm talking about. You'll have to try it to see what I mean. If I were so add anything negative, it would be that this is a hole-in-the-wall location, kind of noisy and cold, but what do you expect from a small restaurant with windows all around? Don't go there for the environment, go for the food. If you can't stand the environment, get your food "to go."More

The meat was a traditional spit meat, generously carved. Not some packaged strips warmed up. Just great flavor. Fresh onions and excellent cucumber sauce. The french fries were some of the best I've had. Not sure of their secret but they are great.

Was in the area for lunch and decided to stop. The gyro had a good flavor. The sour cream was thicker than I prefer. It almost overpowered the meat. The fries were piping hot and good. The service was very friendly and the order prompt....This was my first visit and if in the area I would go back. I would try something else to give it a try.More

Tucked away in a strip mall and facing away from traffic, this is a great little spot that is easy to miss. It's across the parking lot from the fitness center I go to and has been for years. I have noticed it, but never...had the urge to try it. From the outside it looks small and isn't that inviting. I decided to give it a try at the suggestion of my personal trainer and was pleasantly surprised. It is much larger and nicer than it appears from the outside and the food is really good. I had an 'off the menu' sandwich that was really flavorful. I will definitely be back.More

Ate with a few friend and all the food looked very good. One had Falafel with Lemon Rice, another had Chicken skewer with Greek Salad and a third had a Gyro. The staff is quick and very friendly. I will be back.

We discovered this little spot some time ago. It is said to be the very popular restaurant that used to be located in the ZCMI mall downtown. In any event, it is a very popular spot in Holladay. The food is dependably good, the service...is also. The place is spotless. Orders can be done from the drive-up window or walk-in. The inside seating is limited. If you like Greek food, this place is worth a visit. We've been to several such locations in the valley and we like this one the best. Of course, everyone has their own taste and preference. We like the Souvlaki dinners. We've never tried the burgers, but we've observed that many people go there for their burgers.More
