Delicious food. Liked their street food. Very refreshing and not too greasy. Good service too. The buffet hours on Sunday are 11 am to 4 pm and that put us at ease since we entered at 2 pm.

I have been to India twice and love the food. Saffron Valley has very authentic Indian food, and it is nice to be able to order different levels of spiciness (mild, medium, medium hot, and hot) so that every one can enjoy. The Sunday buffet is the best. I have gone to this one on E Street and also the... More

My husband and I enjoy Indian food and have tried many restaurants in the Salt Lake City area, but Saffron Valley is the best. We were on a three week vacation in India a few months ago and I would say the meal we had at Saffron Valley East was just as good as the food we ate in India.... More

After a disappointing meal at nearby competitor of Saffron Valley, it was great to discover very good Indian food in Salt Lake City. At an engaging lunch with friends, we delved into Saffron Valley's expansive buffet, something we tend to avoid due to fear of stale food and a desire to eat fresh. However, this buffet was great, with the... More

I purchased the buffet meal and tried a little bit of almost everything. My Indian friend guided me through my choices. We both liked a few of the items but she and I agreed that many of the choices were not as good as we had hoped. The bread was great.

Unique delicious Indian food. During both our visits, the Maitre D was vacuuming around the tables. How about a push sweeper? Good food, good service. However, I had a tiny suspicion that the vegetable curry was made with frozen succotash. Very good flavor, though! There is a bar with TV's in the dining area.

I love Indian food, especially buffets. Really. I have eaten at dozens of Indian and middle Eastern joints in the US, Mexico and France and while I am an optimistic guy, some do fall short. I ate at Saffron Valley (SV) twice within a week, first passing through Southbound to AZ, then again headed home Northbound. I ate at Indian... More

Completely authentic. Choices at lunch included a buffet or menu ordering. I selected the buffet, and was able to have a wide range of traditional masala, curry, madras, vindaloo dishes, naan, tandoori chicken, and several different chutneys. There were some items new to me, which were delicious. Quiet, but perfect service. I was a little surprised by the burning incense.... More
