That may not sound like a very complimentary title, but this is one of those restaurants that defies being defined and reviewed in conventional terms. Much like Biscuit Beetch (you know the real name, but Trip Advisor thinks t's profanity, and it happens to be the actual name of the establishment) in Seattle, and the Flying Biscuit Cafe(s) in Atlanta,... Pig & a Jelly Jar is the perfect venue for Sunday Brunch! While not the biggest restaurant, its quaint and cozy, producing the type of atmosphere where you can ask the table next to you for extra jam or salt and pepper. The menu consists of traditional breakfast and lunch fare with a dash of southern flair. Staff are friendly... More

This place is hidden treasure! The food is So so so good. The servers are really friendly and the place has a liberal hipster vibe. Great place for breakfast.

The blueberry-lavender jelly was delicious with their marbled rye toast. We had the sink omelette, chicken and waffles and the pig breakfast. I especially enjoyed the potatoes; no overpowering seasonings and not excessively salty. The omelette was served in a skillet and was very tasty.

Chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy?!!!! It doesn't get any better than this folks!! I'm a southern girl through and through and this is great food!!! Wait staff was incredible too! Also - great for kids... our 3 year old devoured everything on the plate.

Chicken and waffles done RIGHT!! Must try! Other combos seem different but taste good. I would personally start with the chicken and waffle classic!

Tempting menu, hard to choose what to have. Cool artwork on the walls. This neighbourhood restaurant is popular and you can see why. Mexican scrambled eggs cooked in a skillet were bursting with flavour- onions, tomato, chunks of breakfast sausage, cilantro, jalapeño cream....Delicious. Partner had the breakfast bap that came in a lovely toasted bap filled with a patty of... More

This is a great place to get brunch. Our waiter was great and very helpful, I hate that I can't remember his name. I had the Chicken and Waffles and it was amazing! The chicken was very tender and it came with bacon and eggs as well.

Wonderful outdoor patio! The food was delicious! Our table ordered the Pig breakfast , the Veggie and we ordered the beignets. All was really good. The homemade jam was yummy! They had strawberry coconut and blueberry lavender. Our waitress was friendly and attentive.

Conveniently located in the revamped Liberty Park area of Salt Lake Ciy, Pig & A Jelly Jar restaurant serves a fresh, from scratch menu with a unique twist on Southern comfort food. The Pig serves up house made sausages, waffles, fried chicken and jams as well as a creative yet approachable menu. We love being in a walk-able location, and providing scratch made breakfast in a fun and inviting urban environment. We are excited to bring that same look and feel to Historic 25th Street in Ogden, Utah with our second location- Pig & A Jelly Jar II.
