I was super tired from traveling and just wanted a quick good meal. How unfortunately disappointing this place turned out to be. The menu says they only serve fresh chicken, which is totally not true. I had the chicken fingers and they were dry, stringy,...chewy, hard and HORRIBLE. I also had the garlic fries which were just french fries with a ton of dry garlic salt dumped on top of them. Awful food, would not recommend.More

Sunday around 5:30. Not many places for dinner. Was walking by and noticed was open and several folks inside. We decided to give it a try. Mixed results but left full. This is primarily a beer and burger place with several things available. Prices are...OK. We started with very large order of mediocre onion rings. Believe they may been dumped out of freezer bag not hand cut and dipped. My wife ordered a very large and tasty milkshake. 22 Oz glass With attractive presentation as chocolate sauce was drizzled down inside glass sides She also had 4 chicken strips with house chips. Said these were just OK. I ordered mushroom Swiss burger and it was very good. I wanted the Mac cheese as a side but all gone. Ordered a house salad as side with blu cheese dressing. Surprisingly this was pretty good. Chopped lettuce, tomato, purple onion and assorted cheese on top. Thought was tasty. While I did not order beer they have a large selection on tap and larger selection in cans and bottles.More

Well where do you start service was shocking,Tables just left with empty plates everywhere staff too lazy to remove walking past not doing other jobs. Food arrived fries were dreadful limp like oven fries. The burger had one tiny piece of bacon and one slice...of thin cheese well over priced at $15 $3.79 fries Burger king or mcdonalds has no competition here and far better food.More

Excellent selection of draft and bottled beers; good range of burgers and cheerful staff. The burger was great, meat the right side of medium rare and toppings all added to the flavour. Fries well cooked and flavoured. All in all great experience and I can...highly recommend.More

My son and I ordered and waited 1.5 hours for our two burgers and fries to come out. While sitting there I watched a party of 3 seated 10 minutes after us get their food and finish their food before we even got our food....When the food came it was gross, fries were cold and inedible. Bread was dry I was so hungry all I ate was the burger patty which was thinner than a big mac patty, and tasted like lunch at a school elementary cafeteria. Our waitress checked on us once in 1.45 hours and that was only to bring the check. I let her know we were not paying for the fries. She said she would get a manager. 20 minutes later she finally comes back with our updated checks where they comped the fries. Manager was too much of a coward to come out. I paid with cash, got my exact change back, and would never step foot in this disgusting establishment again.More

Our server was awesome in her ability to adapt and have a sense of humor through it all. Morgan went above and beyond. The manager Brittany and cook with a beard were rude and dismissive. The food would have gotten the review a zero with...its freezer burnt burned flavor that the beef was unrecognizable. Onion rings so overdone the onions were cremated inside the breading. Do not recommend this place unless you’re going for beer and the service.More

Firstly, the door has a sign saying masks required.. Not one of the staff had on a mask .Secondly, this is described as a "tap room" but they serve only canned Guiness.. Thirdly, they advertise fabulous shakes, but they had no ice cream to make...shakes. We waited a long time to place our order. Then when the food was delivered the onion rings were room temperature and soggy. This place is also described as a "burger emporium." While the burger specials sounded inventive, our choices were just ok. In a pinch, we would probably try the burgers again, but everything else about the place screams stay away!,More

Dinned at Fat Jacks while staying at the Holiday Inn Express. This restaurant was open until 10p (during pandemic) sonwe didn't feel rushed. Great beer options and the burger was great. We had "wicked awesome" waiter who seemed to enjoy his job and was on...top of things. We would definitely come back.More

Place next to hotel: This was my first visit to this particular bar even though it’s attached to the hotel I was staying in. In past visits I peeked in the window, so no beer taps and opted to go elsewhere. (I’m a beer snob...I...won’t drink bottled beer in a town with multiple breweries!) As I stepped in Stephanie welcomed me and, when I asked, told me that for some local regulation they were forced to put their taps “in the back”. They had a very large list of beers on tap, including some from the local breweries like Uinta and Squatters. I stopped in for a beer the second night I was there and had some garlic fries...note that the food menu is plentiful and if the rest of the food is as good as the garlic fries you cannot go wrong here. This would be a great stop if you are in the Holiday Inn Express next door and inclement weather forces you to stay nearby...or just go there even if the weather is awesome...good spot. I will definitely visit this restaurant/bar on a future visit.More

Do not order the Cobb salad. Just a spring mix. I order Cobb salads everywhere. Not here. Burgers were not all that either. I understand now, that you do not order a salad in a bar. At least not this bar. But a burger? A...burger should be perfect bar food. Not here. Average at best. The salad was so bad I have to say I will not be back Jack. Fat chance.More

My husband and I came here for a date night at 7p on a Friday night. There were only about three other parties at the restaurant so service was fast. Our waitress was very attentive, and friendly. The ambiance is like a tavern with grunge...music playing, but not so loud you can’t have a conversation, which I really appreciate! I only didn’t give five stars due to the virtue signaling identity politics on display. I prefer a break from politics when I go out. We ordered the mushroom and Swiss and the angry blue burgers and we upgraded the chips on the first to onion rings and on the second to garlic fries. Everything was really delicious! Just a warning, the garlic fries are very strong (like garlic flavor in your mouth for 24 hours) and the angry blue burger does have some heat (about 3/10 on the heat scale). The total for our two meals was about $25. I would definitely come back here if I was in the downtown area and needed a quick bite.More

Walked in from hotel across the street and was greeted by staff. We ordered burgers and waiter helped with selection of a local beer. Prices were fair and burgers were large but mine was cooked a little less than I liked. Staff handled additional cooking...helpfully. Second try was cooked to perfection. We enjoyed the food and beer and returned to the hotel. This place is close to downtown attractions. Would recommend this restaurant due to the friendly staff and great burgers.More

I had a long day at work and didn't feel like trying to go out so late in the day. So I went next door from my hotel, in fact there is a door that leads into the restaurant. So I went in and ordered...the Grandpa burger and the chili fries. They were good. I went back the next night and ordered just the chili and one of their hot dogs, good again. Even enjoyed a good local beer while I waited for my order. So, all things considered, it is a win-win. I will definitely go back when I am in town.More

Average burger joint located right next to the Holiday Inn Express. It is a pay as you go service, so no waiters/waitress. So if you want another beer, go to the front counter and wait in line to order. Because there are no servers, pretty...much every condiment was empty at our table. If it is at all busy, they are going to ask you if you ordered something. It's all kind of a mess from a service standpoint. The food, it's OK. I've had better burgers. They are pretty think and loaded with the extras. The fries are to die for though! So, it is convenient, but the food is average at best.More
