We reserved a private room for a lot of people for a family function. None of us live in SLC. We had chosen a prix fixe menu and all the choices were delicious. Service was fast, friendly and accurate. The servers were very patient with...our large and noisy group! We’ll be back the next time we’re in Salt LakeMore
When I rate 5 stars, it's deserved! This place was recommended by a new friend during recent visit to SLC. It's a pretty place and the food really amazing! I enjoyed the beet salad - fresh and better than your average beet salad, liked the...dressing in dollops on the side. But the cannoli al fungi was a real treat. ricotta, black trumpet and chanterelle mushrooms, duroc pork lardon, black garlic, sunchokes and a white truffle-madeira cream sauce. It was served piping hot. Had to wait for it to cool a little. The flavors melded and melted in your mouth. What's duroc ... i'd describe as a type of pork or thick bacon with better flavor. the description is from the menu. I would order that exact meal again it was so good! I had an unprecedented two glasses of wine. You can go with a friend, colleague, spouse. And our server, Madison, did a wonderful job!More
We had a beautiful dinner with friends. Love the beet salad and Squash Gnocchi. Great Wine list too.
Went with two couples one of whom lives in SL. Food overall was very good. We had the Aranici as a starter. Nice flavors. Entres included cannoli with mushrooms and agnolotti with crab and asparagus. Selection overall good but missing some of the “go to”...Italian dishes found in Italian enclaves in many US cities. Wine list somewhat limited and mark up for some well known wines much more than comparable restaurants. Service was excellent. Ambiance pleasant. Quiet enough for conversation.More
Stanza is an unobtrusive mid-block eatery, next to a closed hotel, with minimal signage and practically hidden parking. Inside, it is a chrome and wood multi-star gem. The serve staff is among the best I've ever experienced. The food is elegantly presented and superb in...quality. We were there as guests at a 16-person birthday party and while the drink service was a bit slow (only one barman on duty that evening) the drinks were well prepared. We had a special menu with the choice of duck, salmon, or osso buco - all drew praise from those who had them. This is a place to impress people with what Salt Lake City has to offer.More
Met an out-of-town work contact here for a casual meeting over lunch and a glass of wine. The restaurant has a very upscale interior and the food was excellent. The service is fabulous and I was very happy to host him here. I will definitely...come back for a more social dinner. The bar looked inviting and there are lots of places to sit. Didn't try the wine, but the wine list is extensive.More
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to this beautifully set out restaurant. Very spacious with great lighting & minimal noise so we could enjoy our own conversation. Our waiter Ammon was a delight who knew the menu well & offered suggestions which we took....The crab & rictotta ravioli was to die for. As was the butternut squash soup, the salmon was perfect. Prices on the higher end however when you get good service & great food I don't mind. A must visit!!More
Setting was nice, with outdoor seating. Bread was great, soup was very flavorful that's the end of the good. Asked for pork to be well done but was raw in the middle. The staff offered to fix and did remove from our check but the...feel of a nice romantic dinner was ruined. Portions were small and pricey, the menu is super fu,fu. Won't go againMore
This was a special occasion birthday dinner. The decor is modern and spaceous. We had reservations and were seated immediately. There are many appetizers and salads to choose from. We had Caesar and beet salads. There are many pasta and non-pasta entrees. I had the...gnocchi with peapods, pea shoots, pesto which was superb. Others had the duck breast and rigatoni fra diavolo with shrimp and loved their selections. We relied on the water's wine selections, which were spot on. The Service was attentive. Parking is in either their lot or on street. It was a great dining experience.More
