We chose this restaurant because of the location. It was the only one we could find that was right on the water. The crowd was definitely an older crowd, but the food and the service was very good. This restaurant sits at the end of a mall that seems to be dying. You really have to look for the restaurant.

For a touristy place they really do a good job. The fish and chips was not overly breaded and the wine was good.

We stopped in here after a long day of hiking on mt Olympus starved and ready for some drinks. We were not dissapointed. We were seated at a comfy table with next to huge windows with amazing views of the bay and harbor. The clam chowder was absolutely amazing and I wish I could have ordered it in bulk and... More

We got there at about 8:pm not many people there, looked like a great place to eat so we stayed. Very nice restaurant, nice atmosphere, good food but our server needed help. She was overextended and we had to wait for practically everything. It appeared she was covering the whole restaurant. We were seated in the bar area and the... More

Our first night in the NW, we were referred to Downrigger's. Our window table offered a great view. The service was excellent and our food choices were delicious. We had seafood and pastas, and would recommend either.

I had the shrimp skewers with wild rice and asparagus. Shrimp was over cooked and the tough ends remained on the asparagus spears. Flavors were good. Service was adequate. There was one server who was over extended.

We went for dinner at Downriggers based on reviews from Trip Advisor. The location was perfect - right on the water - as we arrived just after sundown. Lots of windows to enjoy the view. Décor could use some updating; however the food and service were very good. We were the last diners in the restaurant and didn't feel rushed... More

We'd come back again. Good food, great view, good atmosphere. A little difficult to locate, but worth the effort.

We had been told that this was a great fish place. Well, it's more of a fried fish sort of thing as opposed to high-end fresh seafood. The menu is not huge. That said, the meal we had was excellent, the view is beautifl and the wait staff was very attentive. It's also not as expensive as we were expecting,... More

We go to Downriggers every time we visit Port Angeles usually when they featured Sunday Brunch. Unfortunately this discontinued over a year ago. This time My mother-in-law and I had fish and chips and my wife had garlic chicken. All three were tasty. My father-in-law had pan fried oysters which are usually great, but got some reason, what he got... More
