We visited this restaurant based on the menu in Trip Advisor. After being seated we discovered that the actual dinner menu was much different than that listed on TA. In reality there were far less items offered and the prices were much greater than on TA. We did not stay, but left to find a different restaurant.

We had dinner here late after traveling all day. I had crab cakes and they were not filled with filler. The aioli they served with them were great. My friend had a seafood pot pie. It was sooo great. It had a light sherry and cream sauce and was loaded with seafood. The wine was good as was the service.... More

The sisters are from Oregon,Washington,Ohio & Kentucky. Although our oldest sister is with us on the West coast, her husband is working on the East coast. We are celebrating with our oldest sister, their thirty-plus years anniversary . She was interested in Cafe Garden, since it serves local seafood. All the seafood was made fresh by their outstanding master chef!!... More

I had 3 crab cakes, a few spears of asparagus, and half a baked potato for $32! It was totally tasteless. Don't go to this place. How it got a good rating on TripAdvisor is beyond me.

Our hotel suggested it as a fresh seafood place. We were offered a whole crab to split for $48. Split meant one ear of corn, one cup of soup. Crab was great, sides were good too, but for the money, we felt that we really overpaid. Again Betty is delightful, friendly, and a good server. But overall, I felt it... More

This was recommended by the hotel as THE place to eat. The menu is very limited and the portions small. The prices are high. 54$ for a single crab is way over priced. We picked up 3 large crabs steamed in Campbell River for 38$ TOTAL and that came with bread, lemon and garlic butter. The mix of seafood and... More

We stopped for brunch here in Port Angeles on our way to Hurricane Ridge. Even though it's right in the middle of town, tables had nice woodsy views and there were also outside eating spaces. The staff wEre very pleasant and attentive and the menu was extensive with great breakfAst choices but the food definitely required additional salt and pepper... More

I had the house made granola served with blackberries, strawberries and blueberries. Very delicious. I normally eat granola with yogurt, but they didn't have any, so ate with milk. My husband loved his Italian Scramble. Both granola and scramble were very generous servings. Very pleasant cafe for breakfast with good service, good coffee, good food. It is pricey though --... Cafe Garden serves good food with an eclectic menu. The crab was very good. It is not your run of the mill tourist eatery. The decor is a little dated, but the atmosphere was comfortable.
