929 has long been the epitome of fine dining in Port Angeles. Not only is the decor a delight but the daily specials listed out by the server are just as much an exciting part of the entire experience. There are options for indoor dining,...as well as outdoor seating. Me and my friends chose to sit outside by the fireplace and the staff was so attentive to our needs, providing pillows and blankets for comfort. They had delectable dishes to cater to all our preferences whether it be seafood, pasta, or salad. The chef pays attention to detail and the food is cooked to perfection and plated in a way to impress the eyes instantly. I thoroughly enjoyed the blackened halibut topped with a roasted red pepper cream sauce, served with lemon champagne risotto and wood fired vegetables. And i would go back to savor the same dish any day. The dessert menu is constantly rotating which adds to the moment and you can always try something new. This restaurant and its staff deserve all the praise they get and more!More

Came here on the recommendation of our friends who we were visiting. Great food and service. We all raved about our meals: one sirloin steak, one pork chop, one cedar plank seafood and one Cajun shrimp penne special. We got there early and were able...to be seated immediately. We understand that they normally don’t take reservations and the wait can be awhile later in the evening. Good choice for an upscale evening.More

Fantastic dinner! We rolled into town and arrived just after 7pm. We were all quite hungry didn’t want to risk not getting seated at all because the list for inside was quite long. We gave the outdoor deck a try on a 50-some degree night....The fireplaces + blankets were awesome and kept us all warm. Our dinners were delicious and plentiful. The variety of local seafood was phenomenal as was the risotto.More

Superior food and service! We arrived for an early dinner and were seated immediately. One of us had the seafood pasta special and the other a steak. Pasta was light and flavorful with lots of prawns and scallops. The steak was perfectly cooked with that...wonderful char on exterior. The staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. When we left a 630pm there were at least 15 people waiting for a table - on a Wednesday night! Go there, you won’t be sorry.More

Food is amazing. I had the halibut that was so favorable. Hubby order the baseball cut steak. So tender barely needed a knife. Great customer service very busy but quick service .

Our meals were of ingredients sourced with extraordinary care, for the natural environment and for the community, and were prepared to delicious perfection. Staff clearly feel inspired by the offerings and their employer, the chef. What a wonderful experience! We both had the special of...halibut on lemon risotto with fresh vegetables.More

Superb meal for our family, including a baby. Well-cooked, very fresh selections with friendly staff and comfortable surroundings. The seafood was very good, as was the steak, and desserts.

We decided to splurge for a birthday celebration and went to Woodfired Grill. After being seated, noticed a cat roaming freely through the restaurant. Asked the waitress and she said it was their housecat. I mentioned that I am highly allergic to cats, and we...would have to leave. The waitress was unphased, no apology, nothing. A cat in a restaurant violates health codes. The rudeness of the staff further solidified why we will not return.More

What a fantastic place. The interior is small, yet very cozy. The outside tables were jam packed and it looked lovely. We were seated in a booth after a very short wait. The waiter was fun and engaging. The food was divine. Highly recommend.

Excellent dinner! We saved this restaurant for our last night after 6 days in Port Angeles and Sequim. A good choice. Steak tornados special and pork chop were cooked just right with nice sides. Chef knows how to cook with the wood fired grill! Nice...wine list. Dessert was a fruit crisp and topped off a great meal.More

We brought my in-laws to your restaurant the evening of May 26th for their anniversary. When we arrived my daughter and I came in to get a table while my husband waited outside, due to the heat, and my in-laws were on their way (on...Lincoln St.). I was told that we had to wait for the rest of our party to arrive before we could be seated. In all the years of living in Port Angeles, or anywhere else for that matter, we have never not been seated upon arrival. My husband wanted to leave at that point but I told him it was fine so we stayed. We had been at our table for about 15-20 minutes across from a couple at another table when a vehicle pulled up and another couple joined them. I asked our server how it was that those folks could have people join their party late but we couldn’t and he said they were friends of the owners. The whole atmosphere was uppity, like the staff thought they were better than us. The server asked if this was our first time there, we said yes and he asked where we were visiting from, we told him we lived here, and he acted so shocked like everyone should have eaten there before. In short, we will not be back and will not be recommending your restaurant to our friends.More

Absolutely superb dinner! They aren't taking reservations so we went early. Every table was full when we departed around 6:30 (Sat). Mixed seafood platter and accompanying veggies were prepared perfectly and SO tasty. Desserts (lemon cheesecake and peach-blueberry crisp) were as good as any I've...had. Service was attentive and cheerful even when busy. Highly recommended!More

This small cozy place is our favorite local restaurant. Always great food. We love it when they have local halibut and the Wilfire Rib Eye is so tender and perfectly cook it just melts in your mouth. Their champagen rissotto is my GF's favorite. No...reservations so we get there early. Plenty of parking. Nice wine list and attentive service. Yes we will be back soon.More
