We are proud to have been continually voted the BEST pizza place on the North Olympic Peninsula! Year after Year after Year! Our folk's began the business in 1963. The Sexton family continues to carry on the tradition of serving GREAT Italian food with friendly service in a family style atmosphere which continues on into the third generation.

Good pizza

We're staying in Port Angeles for a few days and decided to check out the pizza here. We opted for a pick up and looked at their website to decide before going into town. They had some daily specials listed and we thought we'd get a BOGO Itallian Soda. There was also an advertisement for a discount in the lobby of the RV park. We chose the medium Big R and the 2 sodas. Went into the restaurant to order and was told there weren't any online specials and they didn't know anything about an advertised discount. They did, however, give us a 10% senior discount and we paid full price for the sodas. The pizza was surprisingly good. It had a thin crust, but wasn't crunchy, and the toppings were generous. We would probably eat here a lot if we lived here.

Loved the Greek gyro pizza

We ate here twice at my husband's request. The first time, I got the Greek gyro pizza. Fantastic! Gyro meat, lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumbers, tzatziki sauce on the pizza crust (no tomato sauce). The draft half pitcher of beer hit the spot. There was only inside dining. Fortunately, it was not too busy so we could be distanced at tables until a party of 11 came and we moved to another part of the restaurant. There was a non-stop stream of take out orders. Good pizza! The cakes available in plastic containers in the refrigerated case were good, although I might skip the German chocolate next time. It was fine and a nice big piece. Groupon had a coupon for buy $10 and get $20 worth of food which helped in paying for one pizza.

The pizza and bread were very good, served hot and in the time frame we were given. They have a large menu with good variety. We arrived right near the dinner rush and yet they still tuned out our food when they said they would. The toppings on the pizza were plentiful and fresh.

The restaurant was very busy, many people taking out food. We ordered a stromboli, tropical chicken sandwich and fries. The fries came after about 25 minutes and the rest about 40 mins. The stromboli was a sandwich, not like a traditional stromboli which we were expecting. The chicken sandwich was average with a lot of barbeque sauce.

Prepare for cafeteria style service

This is not a typical sit down restaurant. You sit yourself and order at a counter. They bring you your food, but it is up to you to get your utensils, fill your drinks, and get packets of cheese or red pepper. So it is not really a service oriented restaurant, I had a small house salad which was supposed to come with a half order of garlic bread, which was never received, not even when I went to the counter to afl about it. My family shared a pizza, which was decent. The fried ravioli were really really good. The calamari was not that good.

Terrible customer service

We went to Gordy's Pizza for a nice family meal after spreading my father's ashe's at Crescent lake. The place was clean and looks like a excellent pizzaria we placed our orders and that's when the problems started. The fountain drinks were flat and syrup was light. My sister went to the register and asked for replacement drinks. Cashier told her sorry we don't have time to help you and she would HAVE TO SUCK IT UP and drink it. I payed $88.00 for this meal and the chicken Manager would not come out. The staff said could buy bottled drinks but no refund on the fountain drinks. I called Discover card to dispute the bill, they recommended I contact BBB to file a complaint. Can't say if pizza was good as we never got it. Customer service sucks so If you don't want to SUCK IT UP go somewhere else

I'd say it's true that it is the best pizza in PA, but not the artisan/traditional/old school ingredients or taste that is raely found, except if your lucky and find one, usually in the old section of a major city,but not yet in a smaller town. All the same i'll take Gordy's when the pizza itch strikes in PA. Nice selection of veggie add-ons and good coverage. Didn't like being suprised with the GoCart payment processing on the checkout.

Life lesson over decent food

Decent food. Had pastas, calzone, desserts. Whole dinner conversation was centered around dangers of meth addiction. Woman taking orders so hopped up that the four teens with us were uncomfortable. I was amazed she was able to work, then realized we’d been charged wrong as had at least two other patrons who returned with wrong orders or charges.

Plenty of choices

This joint has plenty of menu pizza options, enough to please even a tough crowd, and with 4 sizes of pie to choose from, you can easily get something for everyone. Even with the COVID restrictions, this restaurant still had seating spread out to accommodate several indoor tables. We found no waiting when we arrived but soon saw that the available tables had filled in. Our order came pretty quickly, it was hot and tasty. The staff made sure we had what we needed, then gave us our space to enjoy our pizzas. Old time movie posters were a hoot to look at.

A huge menu to choose from

We were camped outside Port Angeles and were delighted to find out that Gordy's offered delivery to our camp site. What a treat! The menu is enormous, but we finally agreed on what to order, and it arrived on time right to our site. The delivery fee is $10, but is certainly worth it. I would rate the pizza well above average, with nice fresh ingredients and a good crust.

Just Average Pizza

The crust tastes like a pre-made crust, but was actually not too bad. Perfect circle shape is a hint that the crust might be a pre-made. The pizza sauce is not fresh, tastes canned or jarred, the cheese was fine. Overall, for my taste, this is just an average pizza.

Port Angeles, WA Pizza and Pasts - Gordy’s is Excellent

The food was just excellent! We had wedge salad, pizza and fettuccine Alfredo. The fettuccine Alfredo was to die for! And you could not go wrong with anything else! We had the oatmeal cookies for dessert! Excellent as well. The place is family oriented where it is walk in and order and they bring to your table so good for a large or small group. Beer on tap. I think they may have had wine as well but we didn’t have any. Staff/service great! Nice and friendly!

This the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at. The staff is rude, what staff there was. You have to wait on yourself. You get your own drinks and your own silverware and napkins, ect. The food was the worst. My husband got spaghetti with 1 meatball. There was hardly any sauce and the meat ball looked like a brown turd. I had the salmon fettucine. It was horrible. I do not know how this place had 4 stars , it was the worst place we have eaten in a long time.

Visited Gordy's for dinner based off the reviews. Had cheese pizza and fettuccine Alfredo. Pizza was good, but fettuccine was fairly bland. It was not terrible, but I would not order it again. Had cheese cake for desert and again, it was just OK. I felt the prices were high for what was given.

I am somewhat of a pizza aficionado. I love pizza and have eaten it all around the world. We were on a road trip and starving, and unfamiliar with the area, so getting a good meal can be iffy. THIS was one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. Highly recommend.
