Where to start....indifferent server, weak sweet tea, lousy table ( changed at our request) and lousy food. Order BBQ plates- was served some sort of mushy pork but it was not actual BBQ. . The plate was to come with hushpuppies and no bun- but...it came with bun and no hush puppies. I asked our server why and she shrugged and said the bun was a substitution for the hush puppies and we could pay extra if we wanted an order of hp. We had driven 40minutes out of our way to try this place and it was a huge disappointment.More

Can't speak for other nights but the place was packed. We were a group of 8 and had to wait a long time for a table as it appeared they were unwilling to pull 2 tables together. The food was good and prices were not...bad. I was not in the mood or would have tried their alligator dinner. I had the blackened catfish and the calamari.More

A little drive from the city of Macon but worth it. The place is very casual and plain, go in shorts with no problem. We had a nice view of the water from out table. My husband had the ribs and they were excellent, very...lean and fall off the bone tender. I had the cat fish fillets and they were tasty and perfectly cooked I had 5 pieces which was more than enough. I'm make the drive out again.More

This is our second time coming to Fish N Pig and it was just as good as the first!!! We stayed there for a good five hours with friends, just drinking and eating and hanging out. The live music was great and we stayed out...on the patio even past closing because the music was still going! The drinks are super delicious, the staff is amazing, and the food is incredible!! The alligator bites are a must try!! Highly, highly recommend this place!! The atmosphere is so much fun!! You have to go.More

Another win for Macon, GA! Gator, fried okra, fried oysters, shrimp boil, and ribs are just a sampling of what you can order. Plus the view of the lake is pretty, especially right after the rain.

The place has live music with outside deck bar on the lake. We ate inside with windows to the lake. Fresh local catch fish. I had the alligator and crayfish. The popular mixed drinks were wonderful. Its a neat place with all the decor. You'll...love it there. Ate dinner and then walked the outside deck area. Great place and very good foodMore

Now lets talk about a great place to have some fried catch (whole). I have been a catfish eater most all of my life and they make some of the best out there. If you are ever in the Macon area, you must take the...little drive out to Lake TOBO and have a fantastic meal.... Amanda A & B are AWESOME.............More

We always try to eat at local restaurants whenever we travel. It seems the best food is always in those places! The Fish N' Pig is no exception! We found it by searching online and then when we asked the desk clerk at the hotel...for a recommendation, she mentioned Fish N' Pig first. This casual restaurant is located on the shore of Lake Tobesofkee. There is dining available outside at the Tiki Bar as well as inside. We enjoyed the colorful decor and the Southern hospitality. Kristine was a wonderful server! We had read that they only use fresh wild caught shrimp from Georgia, so when our server mentioned the Shrimp & Grits special with hush puppies, I was sold! It was delicious! The grits were creamy & the shrimp were cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the 1/2 smoked chicken with coleslaw and sweet potato souffle. It also came with garlic bread on the side. The BBQ sauce was a great companion to the smoked chicken. The souffle was a flavorful treat that made us feel like we were eating dessert instead of a side dish. All our food was great & the portions were plentiful. We only wish this place was closer to where we live! When passing through Macon again, the Fish N' Pig will definitely be on our list of places to visit!More

We stayed in Macon the Thursday night before Memorial Day weekend. We checked out this place right on Lake Tobesofkee. It has a fish camp ambiance with marks of several add-ons over the years. Very best fresh grouper perfectly prepared. My husband opted for the...potato and made-from-scratch collard greens. I had cole slaw and squash casserole which were very good. Also extra light hushpuppies. They had indoor and outdoor tables with views of the lake with pontoon boats afloat. Also an outside tiki/karaoke bar which looked like great fun. To avoid a 30 minute wait, we ate a table in the bar. Service was cordial, efficient, and our server brought any extras we requested. We will definitely go back when in Macon again.
