We were the only two people here and the service was pretty poor. Food was mediocre. No ambiance and didn't appreciate the rap music that blared out during our entire time there. Started with a pleasant waitress then she disappeared and an Assian woman wearing a puffer jacket took over . Were disappointed as had read some reasonable reviews on... More

Me and my wife had dinner here for our 1st anniversary on out trip to NZ and we're very impressed. It was easily the best food in the beautiful little town of Franz Josef. The menu is mainly classic European with a slight twists like the use of some some Thai and local New Zealand ingredients.

The place in right on the main artery road so it is very easy to find. It is quite close to the YHA where we are staying so we simply walk there despite it is raining and windy, and thunder/lightning on our return trip to the YHA. Service is good and food is good as well. However, costs of food... More

This is a lovely bright casual restaurant that serves something a little different. The fusion dishes worked well and were delicious. There is a bar on the second level, away from the dining area on the first level. What a great idea keeping the two areas separate!

The food here is a fusion of European and Filipino, so that resulted in an interesting menu that sets this place apart from the usual English/Kiwi fare. The ambience is bright, and the food of pretty high quality.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel for breakfast. It was a good choice. I have a very restricted diet and they were able to cater to my needs. Good food, good service. It was a good way to start the day before a long drive to Christchurch.
