This is a lovely bright casual restaurant that serves something a little different. The fusion dishes worked well and were delicious. There is a bar on the second level, away from the dining area on the first level. What a great idea keeping the two areas separate!

The food here is a fusion of European and Filipino, so that resulted in an interesting menu that sets this place apart from the usual English/Kiwi fare. The ambience is bright, and the food of pretty high quality.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel for breakfast. It was a good choice. I have a very restricted diet and they were able to cater to my needs. Good food, good service. It was a good way to start the day before a long drive to Christchurch.

We really enjoyed our meals at this restaurant. Simple meals but done very well which is a rarity! My partner is a chef and loved his meal but thought they needed to get rid of the 70's garnishes. Lovely, moist sticky date pudding! We really enjoyed our night there and would definately go again.

We stopped by here for lunch before hiking out to the Franz Joseph Glacier. The waitress was really friendly and accommodating. The food was wholesome and the portion sizes were good! Would recommend this place

We were astonished when we were told we would have a complimentary limo ride to and from Blue Ice! A stretch Hummer with a delightful driver picked us up from our hotel for a marvelous dinner of seafood for me and lamb for my husband. Everything on the menu was appealing, so we went back the next night to enjoy... More

One of our best meals in NZ. Had salmon and ribeye, both very good. Even the fries are spot on. Staff were friendly and attentive. No wonder they are the #1 restaurant in FJ!
