We called in at the Last Cafe for lunch on our drive South through Fox Glacier. We found the cafe to be clean and the staff friendly. The menu was varied and the food we chose was well prepared.

We had dinner here during our stay in Fox Glacier. Fox Glacier is a small community that attracts a lot of adventure tourists and perhaps not a place where you would focus on fine restos. The meal we had at The Last Kitchen impressed us....More

Ate here at 6pm on a Monday and apart from a group of 10 young Chinese we were the only customers. The food was good, service was excellent and the wine was good. I think the kitchen services the Asian restaurant next door as well and...More

To be honest we were not expecting much at Fox Glacier but this place is a little treasure of a place. Excellent food and service. Highly recommended.

Our flight was cancelled due to rain and decided to dine in The last kitchen. Ordered the soup , duck and pork with sizzling steak. All were very good except of old music. We will visit again.

We ordered the vegetable stir fry, fish cakes and soup of the day which was chicken soup. The food must have been frozen and reheated. The soup came out so hot it must have been microwaved and the vegetarian stir fry was mushy and flavourless....More

As many places in this town, it resembles a pub from the outside but don’t let that turn you away. The food is very tasty and served with class. Platted nicely and the service was great. It also was not a long wait like most places...More

We stopped after a bike ride and decided on some chips and beer. 10 bucks for a small bowl of chips is not good value for money really.
