Lovely location good food pity the tide was at dead low. Just think $4 for 2 pieces of garlic toast added to the price of the seafood chowder is a bit much!!

The view from this Cafe is just wonderful and when I am in NZ go there for a wonderful hot chocolate. Our friends have a boat moored off there and the Cafe is right there.

After spending the morning looking for homes in the Sandspit area, my husband and I decided to try this cafe at the Marina. We walked in and was greeted by a cheerful and charming Justin (the owner). We had a nice chat about the town, while he was humble about his cafe. We ordered sandwiches, tea and coffee that was... More

Justin and Robyn opened the cafe for us. They also consider diet requirements as some kids are having allergy, We have vegetarian lasagna, sausage roll, chips, bacon... More

The owner of this cafe is super friendly and super kind! I was waiting for my daughter to arrive on a ferry and decided it was too nice to sit inside (amazing sunny winters day) and he saw me sitting reading my book and offered me a coffee - brought it right out to me and didn't take a penny!... Lovely location when tide is high. Positives end there. Beer battered fish over cooked. According to the chef, salsa for nachos must be cooked with vinegar. I'm allergic to vinegar so omitted it. I thought nachos usually come with a mince/bean mix. Found the owner/chef to be quite opionated which we found off-putting.

Absolutely Awesome in 3 aspects. 1) Delicious Food - The yummiest Fillet Steak with chips and Caramalised onions. 2) Lovely Scenic view 3) Wonderful service A must visit if you're visiting Snells beach/Omaha Beach
