After taking a Covid-Break, Monkeypod is back in action opening with limited hours. We can't wait to dine there soon. If you haven't been, the simple menu checks most foodie boxes and cravings. All entrees are good, with special kudos to the pizzas, fish and...burgers, all excellent. The Mai Tai's are unique, and amazing. You'll just have to find out for yourself why they are unique.More

My wife and I came to Monkeypod at the recommendation of several friends who all raved about the mai tais. Sometimes these type of recommendations live up to the hype but sometimes they don’t. For Monkeypod, they truly did. We enjoyed a couple of rounds...while sampling some food items from the menu. We also chose to sit outside on the patio to enjoy the wonderful weather which was great. We didn’t get a chance to revisit but next time we come back to Maui then we definitely will. This place is a great find for sure!More

My family loves this place, especially during Happy Hour! Definitely go to try all the apps and their insane lilikoi mai tai! Mmmm! Also, the one in Kaanapali has the best view and ocean breeze with live music during HH!

Couldn’t wait to get back to Monkeypod! Came to Wailea a couple years ago and were looking forward to coming back. This trip enjoyed the restaurant in Wailea again and then went to the one in Ka’anapali. Just as good!! Great menu. Great food. Great...ambiance. Casual setting with incredibly fantastic food!!More

We had a delicious dinner and dessert at Monkey Pod on Kaanapali Beach. While dinner was great, the pie for dessert was amazing! We had a slice of chocolate creme and banana creme. Huge slices. We had leftovers to take back to the condo to...finish off the next day.More

The food and drinks were good. The atmosphere was not bad either. Service was ok. Taking into consideration the location of the restaurant, I still feel that the prices are a bit high for what you get (in terms of the meal and the service)....So there is room for improvement in terms of value.More

Monkeypod Kitchen is located in Whaler's Village, which is extremely crowded. The restaurant itself was fine. We had a fish sandwich and fish and chips - all OK, but just average. Now, the Mai Tai with lilikoi was probably the BEST ever that I've ever...had. I would definitely go back and sit at the bar and order one or two of those.More

So the food is amazing and don't forget about the Mai Tai! Their versions of old fashions are also great (Ai 'Ono and New Style). Corn Chowder, brussel sprouts, cornbread . . . all of it. But the best was our server Amanda. We were...rudely impacted by some guests next to us. Not only did she take care of us but spoke up on our behalf. Amanda and Monkeypod took care of us.More

This was our last meal in Maui. We had to return our rental car by 7:00 the same evening. We did have to wait to be seated. Even at 4:00 in the afternoon the place was very crowded. We ate outside surrounded by a small...pool and beautiful flowers. We loved the drinks with all the foam and fruit.More

As Floridians we normal try to stay away from a restaurant in a location like this but we were starving and the reviews were so good. And for good reason. My son's pizza was so fresh and tasty. We had the lobster deviled eggs, so...good. Glad we stoppedMore

The full menu is on their web page. There were no bad dishes that we saw. The pizza's are excellent with good vegan choices. Something for everyone. Go early as it is very busy.
