Date night and wow, impressed. Setting not to be confused with grand Wailea is amazing, greatest sun set I bet. So Book for 6pm if possible. Not too busy as well.. Couples location. Menu isn't huge but what's on offer is great actually it's brilliant. Service was impeccable, think we had 4 servers.. Wine options are breathtaking, starters/ entries are... More

Very good breakfast!! Wish there were a few more options, but very delicious. Also, pretty expensive, but most things in Hawaii are. :)

Our concierge sent us here for our wedding anniversary. We were so disappointed. Service was good but the food was average, certainly not worth the price tag. So many bugs....couldn't wait to leave.

Was this the most expensive meal we had ever eaten? Definitely (3 courses each, one bottle of wine- £258, ouch). Was it the best meal we had ever eaten? Certainly not. Was it the best meal we ate on Maui? No. Was the location and service fabulous? Definitely. Would we go back again? No. I had the truffle risotto, which... More

It was highly recommended and we were not disappointed! It's up on the hillside so sunset views are beautiful from every table at the restaurant. Very nice and friendly staff. I would not take young children. Small menu but everything we tried was very good.

We were guests at Hotel Wailea, where Capische is located. We had breakfast here every night of our stay and dinner a few times as well. The food is all gourmet, beautifully presented and delicious. Highly recommend the crispy waffles for breakfast, which are so light they melt in your mouth. Dinner was also excellent, and dessert was superb. We... More

Apps were on point, new stuff since the last visit. Presentation of dishes are very elegant and well prepared. Sat at bar and the guy was great. There when you needed service yet unintrusive.

The food was amazing. We shared the risotto and the tomato appetizer, both were very tasty. The best part of the night was our snapper dinners. It was somehow cooked to perfection with a mix of flavors and textures unlike anything I've had before. The ambiance is gorgeous, although we were used to that because we were staying at the... We were staying at the Hotel Wailea and had dinner our first evening there at Capsiche. The food was very fresh and but the service was spotty. Took a good while to get drinks, etc. But, they were busy as it was a Saturday night. The service at breakfast however was outstanding! I would recommend this restaurant as an option for... More

Description
Hawaii's first and only Relais & Chateaux restaurant, The Restaurant at Hotel Wailea (formerly known as Capische?) offers a European-inspired elegance infused with creative island-to-table cuisine. Menus are created around what is readily available from Maui’s own farms and fisherman ensuring that each dish is prepared using only the finest local, seasonal and artisanal products; including those grown in the restaurant’s own garden and farming operation.

From its perch on the hillside above South Maui's Wailea resort area, the restaurant offers sweeping panoramic ocean views from the upper lanai and intimate dining under the stars in the garden.
