If you're craving delicious homemade food, look no further! This place serves up Sri Lankan dishes that are out of this world, tasting just like they do in Asia. The owner is delightful, and the atmosphere is simple yet charming. Come hungry and leave satisfied!

My husband and I had a pleasant dinner here while staying in Ilulissat. As is generally the case in Greenland, prices were steep by our country's standards so we only had a main course each. My fish soup was lovely and hubby enjoyed his burger...and chips. We liked the laid back vibe and efficient yet friendly service. We would definitely eat there again if visiting Ilulissat.More

Good dinner, still expensive for Australians, but it was REAL food. We had an appetiser, one main meal and two drinks.

We had the pleasure of meeting Wilhelm on a boat tour and he recommended the Inuit Café. The local food and service was outstanding. Each of us had a different meal and all were prepared to perfection. Inuit Café for food and Wilhelm for a...boat tour. You can find his information at the café.More

If you want quality and tasty food look no further in Ilulissat. Inuit Cafe is a family run business and you get quality and yummy food with general portions. The staff is very friendly and professional and always want to make sure you leave satisfied....We stayed in two hotels and compared to their restaurant food, Inuit Cafe not only affordable but very tasty with generous portions. But to avoid disappointment PLEASE book your table well in advance. We witnessed that so many customers had to leave with empty stomach because they did not book their reservation.More

This is a great little restaurant and justifiably busy. I was lucky to just walk in on a rainy night and get a table, but they all were full when I left. I ordered the curry soup with halibut and shrimp. It was almost a...stew, there was so much seafood in it. The soup was a wonderful, creamy tomato based curry that brought tears to my eyes. Simply delicious! I looked around to see what other people were having, and everything looked good. Many people were having their snow crab, which were huge portions of steamed snow crab. I saw egg rolls, stir-fry, hamburgers--a little bit of everything. You do go to the counter to order and pay, so don't expect someone to bring you a menu and take your order.More

Nothing much, extremely long waiting time for food, more than an hour. The restaurant in Greenland is run by Indians, on the menu you will find a srange combination of several cuisines - "Greenland", Italian, Asian, maybe even more. Average food quality at a still...affordable price.More

My wife and I had dinner here. We shared a curry seafood soup that was full of seafood and was delicious. I had a whale steak for a main course and she had a halibut and shrimp dish. Both were very good. We also had...some Greenlandic beers on tap from Qajak that were very good. I recommend making reservations for dinner. We arrived around 5:30 and all of the tables were marked Reserved. They let us sit at a table with a 7:00 pm reservation time. A short while later though, they were turning people away,More

Our guide recommended this cafe to us. We ordered the red curry and the Whale steak. The curry is nice and spicy. A comfort food on a rainy day. The Whale steak is a bit too tough for my liking. But is worth a try...Portion is good. Just be aware that you will walk away from the cafe smelling like fried food!More

Wanted to dine here on my day of arrival but they were closed on Tuesdays. So I went at 1130AM the next day and had the reindeer steak, which was good. Not a cheap meal but it was tasty.

Had 2 dinners here during a summer holiday in Ilulissat. I'd say this is one of the best restaurants in town. Variety of food cooked and prepared by a fascinating and friendly family. Good value.
