This is a very lovely situated restaurant. I would highly recommend it. The food is very well presented and very nice. It can be a bit breezy if there is a wind blowing off the sea, but so long as you don't mind this it...is perfect. But as it is warm it is not an issue, i would recommend booking a table overlooking the sea as they fill up or are booked earlier. There is an up stairs which is where i sat and was lovely if you don't mind a steep narrow stairs to get there. But i would highly recommend this place, you have to enter it down a drive to the neighbouring hotel and then turn right halfway down the drive and then just follow the signs round to the restaurant.More

My husband and I wandered in to this cool oasis on a hot evening The cool sounds of water, beautiful plants and lovely eclectic decor drew us right into a table by the water. We were actually there about an hour before they opened, so...we took some wonderful sangria and sat on the dock to enjoy the water and birds. Dinner was excellent our first salad made with fresh lettuces and carrot ribbons. Dinner was fresh, plentiful, delicious and well served by our friendly waiter. A very memorable night complete with entertainment by fishing pelicans. Highly recommended!More

We departed from our tour group for a night with just the two of us at this restaurant. I think the rest of the group wished they had joined us! Great experience in a kitchy but charming setting on the water. We arrived after dark...so could only enjoy the lights of a few boats passing but that was fine for us. Our server was great- so pleasant and helpful. We did the fix prix for $18 I think which was a really good deal as it included interesting appetizers and a wonderful salad (the only salad I ate in cuba as it included beets and other non-lettuce goodies). We also had a simple dessert and a post dinner liquor. I had the piccadilly which I really enjoyed. It is a little bit dark on the walk down to the end where the restaurant and we were alert but felt safe.More

The seating area was quaint, even romantic, with views of the water. The soup and appetizer were very nice. The banana chips were nicely presented. Our meal was fine and filling. The service was great and the restaurant was very clean.More

Lovely location near the water. Probably good views during day. We arrived at night, there was a healthy crowd. Service was good. Food was good. Still the confusion of government run places are bewildering...

On a recent group trip to Cuba we had lunch at the Villa Lagarto in Cienfuegos. The setting on the water is beautiful. The restaurant is comfortable and relaxing. Service was top notch, and the food (like all the food I had in Cuba) was...perfect.More

We went with a large group of 30 on a religious mission in Cuba. This restaurant was the most memorable. I loved the cork tree (tree covered with wine corks). We had a set menu due to the large group. Soup was nice. The beef...dish was very tasty and the fruit in syrup was a good end for a delicious meal.More

So much fun the moment you walk through the door. This privately owned B&B turned restaurant hits your senses right away. It's definitely decorated in kitch, which makes it fun, but that's not what makes the restaurant, it's the food. Sitting on the deck watching...the sun go down with a glass of wine makes for a perfect ending of a pretty good day exploring this beautiful city in Cuba. When the dessert came out I have to tell you I've never seen or tasted anything like this before. We couldn't figure out what it was. Some kind of candied fruit. I had this same dessert at another restaurant, but that one had cheese and coconut on it. I still don't know what it is.More

On August 23rd I was referred to this place, upon arrival I was "greated" by the rudest person in the world who basically kicked me out. The "Capitan of salon" advised me that they would not serve "Cubans" must be noted that I was born...in Cuba and emigrated to the States at a young age.So basically I was refused service based on the simple fact that I was born in Cuba, only in country like Cuba things like this are allowed.More

I don't have the address, but when I went there it was empty! It has first and second floor! So you probably have many empty seats! And if you go, try to go there little early or very late!
