The restaurant is well located and has a nice cozy feel to it. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. The food was good by Cuban standards, but certainly nothing to write home about. If I was in town again I would definitely go and eat there and try and get a seat on the terrace.

After our trip to Cienfuegos, we decided to have dinner in the town and enjoy the city at night. We were mislead by some people in town that wanted us to go to a different venue. However in the end we did manage to the restaurant and it was worth it, the service was good and the food delicious. We... More

You will have to look carefully to find this restaurant as access is through a single door and up a flight of stairs. But persevere and you will find a great menu and superb food at reasonable prices. I had a meat dish which was faultless - in fact the only thing I could complain about was the portion size... More

The restaurant is up a very long and steep flight of stairs. It's quite crowded inside, and noisy. The night I went for dinner, they had a number of choices on the menu: pork, fish, chicken, shrimp. I chose the fish. It was well prepared and the portion was generous. It came with rice and a salad. The service was... More

We followed a guide book here and found it a popular place with 30 min wait but its worth it at the end. The food was delicious and cheap.

I went 2-3 times in February 2016, they offer different Cuban dishes , always was very crowd but nicely small restaurant placed in a old house . They only have around 10-12 tables. The food it's good and you can eat and drink with 20 $ or less...!!!! Be aware that it's Cuba and for now you don't have a... More

I was very surprised, considering the "excellence" rating they have posted outside the restaraunt. Everything was below average. Maybe they had a bad day .

We had a delicious lunch at Dona Nora, overlooking the Paseo de Marti. Shrimps were not overcooked as often happens in Cuba, but delicately seasoned; my husband had a good Ropa Vieja, a bit like pulled pork but made with beef, very tasty. The lemonade frappes were refreshing, service pleasantly efficient. Very nice restaurant to recommend.

Really enjoyed the casa specialities... Rabbit and lamb. Make sure you book early in the morning and request a table by the balcony - great spot for people watching :-)

The restaurant was located one floor up a flight of stairs, when we were there it was too windy to eat on the balcony. The restaurant with the balcony doors closed is small with tables and chairs close together. We had the lamb speciality, more like mutton but very tender and very good in a nice sauce. The staff were... More
