We stopped by El Carey on the way out of town for a quick breakfast and we were very impressed. The pancakes were amazing as well as the rest of the meal but what impressed us even more was the friendliness of our server/owner. He provided incredible service and was genuinely friendly. Did I mention the pancakes were amazing? Do... More

Bajuras Creole is the newly named establishment where El Carey was founded. Under new management who were trained by El Carey owners and have maintained the same Chef, same menu, and those special sauces!! They also still showcase and sell exclusive artwork by Diana Vazquez. Same great location and service. Check them out and you will return!! Shown in picture,... More

I visited El Carey while on vacation with friends for a wedding. It is a great local spot for breakfast or lunch. The portions are great, pretty large, and the price is great. They also have delicious fruit juices which I highly recommend.

This isn't El Carey Cafe any longer, but the guy who runs it now, Carlos, is so nice and the food he cooks is amazing. I had the special of the day. He sliced potatoes and deep friend them, then he sautéed them with tomatoes, green peppers and onions. Topped with 2 eggs anyway you want them, dirty or clean,... More

I'm no stranger to the Carey. I love their pancakes their natural juices and their relax don't hurry your day atmosphere. This time I got here not expecting that it would be open but to my surprise it was. It's under new management and renovating the area. The taste was great and the all natural passion fruit juice is like... More

Maybe it's what we ordered (breakfast) but it was only okay. Nothing special. The food was ordinary and a bit bland.

We have a very relax surf atmosphere... So don't worry about your sandy feet, salty hair and wet dollar bills... We don't mind! We serve Breakfast, Lunch and Smoothies... Our schedule does change without notice if the waves are good, hope you don't mind
