Well we didnt expect to find such a fine Tavern in Natchez. It was recommended to us by the owner of the Brandon Hall, and it was definitely worth a visit. Gent behind bar was very friendly and witty. We arrived at 10pm but the...More

We had hoped to visit the distillery next door, but it was not open. Had seen the reviews online for the tavern and thought we would get a bite before heading home. The board outside caught my eye concerning the number of brisket flatbreads served....More

We stopped by for a tour of the rum distillery which was very interesting and informative. The entire staff was very warm and welcoming. The tour included samples and a drink of our choice off the menu.

We were not disappointed! The building was really interesting- lots of history. The chef greeted us. Was a rainy Sunday afternoon so it was not very busy. Tried the pot pies (delicious) - especially loved the dressing on the salad. Also had the shrimp and...More

Don't go to Natchez and not visit The King's Tavern! A great atmosphere for great food and drinks. We loved the history surrounding the building and we loved the casual dining experience. The service was spot on and the food was amazing!

We made our first trip to the Kong’s Tavern today and it won’t be our last. As soon as we walked in I knew this was my type of historical landmark restaurant/pub. We ordered the hummus and the meat and cheese platter. (I forgot the...More

This place is located in the oldest building in Natchez - there’s even a historical marker for it. It’s owned by the same people who run the distillery (conveniently next door). The place is small with family style seating but the atmosphere is wonderful and...More

Have been there plenty of times with my wife & friends (we visit Natchez often from South Louisiana). We decided to take our young kids this time. They loved the idea of dining in a "haunted house". Stopped in for Saturday lunch. The thunderstorm added...More

The Harpe brothers are gone long ago. Also are their victims. Haunted or spooky? We regrettably didn’t meet any ghost. Such is a privilege for Transylvanians. For the Tavern's history see wiki.

Historic King's Tavern circa 1789 as seen on Ghost Adventurers and Travel Channel. Wood fired oven with steak, fresh fish and pizza's. Craft Cocktails - some of the best in the country. Also tour the Charboneau Rum Distillery next door. Ourdoor dining
