It was raining quite hard when we pulled into a parking place right in front of this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised to find vegetarian (eggplant) po" boys on the menu. They were really good and the service was friendly and prompt.

Got there for an early dinner and found a deserted restaurant. Ambiance is fair. The "blues" is from the cable channel blues music channel, not bad, and I recognized all the classic blues tunes (big bill bronze, robert Johnson, hank Ballard, howling wolf et al) with a bunch of generic contemporary songs in the mix. Service was fine. Food a... More

The food was excellent and the biscuits where wonderful. The waiter will bring you a biscuit each while you are waiting on your food so don't panic you do not have to buy a basket of them. but if you did I'm sure you would eat everyone. I had the Oyster poorboy and my wife had the pot pie both... More

Stopped her for lunch while in area. Love the Delta blues feel to the place. Their biscuits are outstanding with their apricot butter - yum. I also had some frfied oysters which were ok, nothing to rave about. I woul dnot go out of my way to eat here again.

My chicken and rib combo was delicious as were the biscuits with apricot butter which were served as an appetiser. One of my friends had the gumbo which he thoroughly enjoyed. The owner took time out to talk to us about the food we were eating which was nice. There is a good selection of local beers as well. Would... More

Went there for lunch as a friend in New Orleans (where we live) told us his relative used to own the building. We asked the staff if they knew who the Civil War picture on the wall was and they had no idea. We split the ribs and 3 side lunch. Flavorful enough but we are somewhat spoiled by New... More

This restaurant is busy because it is on Main Street, but I cannot recommend it highly. There are too few wait staff who, because they were busy, breezed by setting something on the table without a word as she zoomed to someone else's table. The biscuits are good but you are given only the marmalade butter. The food was just... More

We needed a quick bite between house tours . Biscuits and Blues fit the bill. Being from Minnesota, we wanted to try a po'boy and muffulletta. Tried the catfish po'boy and "appetizer" mini muffuletta. Both were great. The Muffuletta was a full hogie bun cut into quarters- full sized sandwich, not an appetizer. Service was fast and efficient so we... More

We were in Natchez for the day and decided to give this place a try. I had the lunch special, red beans and rice and my wife had the fried chicken salad. The special was nothing extraordinary. Some store bought mixes are just as good. The service was very slow. We probably will not be back.

After almost five years we eat at this place again and it was just as good as the last time. Menu is a little limited but plenty to choose from. Really enjoy the singing they have in there, must be different one from the local area. The hours and times open for them are more reliable than many others in... More
