Stopped in with 5 friends Friday night of the balloon race around 6 pm. Seated immediately. Drinks ordered and served right away. There was fighting at the table over the basket of biscuits, they are that good. I ordered eggplant Orleans and it was the best Thing I ate all weekend. Eggplant was lightly breaded and fried. Served with grilled... More

Went for a drink. Had a great Bloody Mary and biscuits. I can see why their biscuits are well known.

We ordered the basket of biscuits for our appetizer and they were wonderful! My husband ordered the chicken and ribs and he couldn't get enough. I ordered the shrimp pasta. While the shrimp was delicious, the sauce and the noodles were not. The noodles were over cooked and the sauces was greasy. However, the overall atmosphere was wonderful. There was... More

Always have lunch here at least one day of our visit. Good food, good beer, and good service. They have a great selection of daily specials.

Went for dinner. Food was very good. They had an acoustic guitar player and he was very good. Beer was cold and service was good.

My wife and I had dinner here on a Saturday night. The place was busy but not crowded. I ordered the rib and chicken combo with garlic mashed potatoes and it was very good. My wife had salmon and it was a little overcooked and dry.

Great atmosphere and wonderful local food. Red beans and rice today's special. Yum. Biscuits and marmalade butter a house original.

Live entertainment was great. The biscuit were light and airy. I had fried shrimp, oysters, and catfish. They were really good. I grew up on the coast and know my seafood. This was exceptional.
