Red beans and rice was the special this past Saturday. It came with slaw and biscuits. I think it was some of the best that I have ever eaten!

My wife and I and two of our grand kids stopped at Biscuits & Blues for lunch before going down the Natchez Trace. I had the lunch special, pot roast and my wife and one of the grand kids had the fried shrimp dinner and the other grand son had a broiled shrimp poorboy. The food was great at well... More

Sunday brunch. Our waitress was not well trained. Service at table was extremely slow. Beverages came after a very long wait. Complementary biscuits never show up without asking. We did not order the Sunday brunch, rather we ordered from the "speialties" portion of the menu. That too seemed to confuse and slow the process. Not a pleasant dining experience. Note... More

Yet another place recommend here in Natchez and yet another let down. Staff was either nonattentive or completely overwhelmed. The food was ok at best. I had direct view into kitchen and everything I saw being prepared came out of a plastic bag in the freezer. Not what you want to see at these prices.

We very much enjoyed our visit here. The food was good, the live music entertaining, and the service friendly. It was a good atmosphere and their local brews available hit the spot.

Have eaten there several times. Usually has live music in the evening on weekends. Great poboys. It is right in the middle of town and a few blocks from the River.

On arriving in town, we were looking for a place to eat, and happened upon this restaurant. Didn't know what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the wait staff. One thing to try is its version of bread pudding. It's simple and simply delicious.

So if Natchez is the biscuit of the world, the is it the only restaurant to serve hand made biscuits is here? The wait was long but the food was good. Not great, but good. We had the pot roast and chicken with dumplings. Both came with sides. The corn casserole was really good and the mac & cheese was... More

Had an early dinner there, unfortunately, no live music. My husband had a grilled shrimp poo boy and loved it. My spinach salad was delicious, but the fried oysters were more breading than oysters. Biscuits are great and I very much liked the butter/apricot spread.
