One of Natchezs' best kept secrets. Classic southern cuisine. The food is always a hit. The service is good. And some of the finest melt in your mouth biscuits in the world. If you visit Natchez plan to have Sunday brunch at the Carriage House. You will not be disappointed.

The best biscuits ever!!! The fried chicken is delicious. The shrimp and oyster po boy was great too! The staff was very accommodating. The atmosphere is good as well. Everything is like you step back at least 50-60 years ago. For me, this was the best food in Natchez.

This seems to be a locals place for brunch after church. It had been talked up all week. It was a lunch buffet and it was just okay.

Stopped for lunch and was pleased with the overall experience and food. Asked if the had a few sides not on lunch menu and they were glad to accommodate me. The restaurant was nice and the grounds and colonial house were beautiful. Would definitely recommend a stop here while in Natchez. Will definitely come back.

Read such wonderful reviews about the Carriage House so we went Sunday, which is only the buffet. Beautiful setting. Good service. I think I would have enjoyed the regular service rather than buffet. Having said that, interesting choice and some tasty items. The praline bacon was good and so was the shrimp creole. My husband really enjoyed the duck.

The food here was very southern. Being from the South I was very much accustomed to the food so I rate it as average. The setting was very nice and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall a good experience just nothing any more special food-wise than any typical southern joint.

My wife and I have been to the Carriage House three or four times over the years. We have dined on many varied foods for lunch, but the fried chicken is an institution, and we go with it most of the time. The half-dollar size specialty biscuits are also part of each visit. Recently, we again had the chicken plus... More

The Carriage House Restaurant was recommended by several people in the area and received fairly good reviews on tripadvisor. However, it's a beautiful setting but overrated. White table cloth dinning to eat fried chicken, Mac and cheese, grits and waffles? We were ready for some good home cooking but were a bit disappointed.
