The exterior is drab in my opinion, but the food is great! Stopped in for breakfast and had eggs Benedict which was done perfectly and steak and eggs. Everything was really good. Giving it 3 stars because they were understaffed and a bit rude. Paid $50 for our two meals, a cup of coffee, and a glass of orange juice.

Stopped by the river, & found this café. It is quite big inside, & has outdoor seating area where you can bring your dog. A nice choice of food & lots to choose from. Waiting staff were good, didn't have to wait to long either. I had pulled pork sandwich & fries, very tasty. My husband had turkey & cheese... More

Huge menu with friendly service. Enjoy some breakfast items and a lunch special. Place was full of locals and seems like a great place to go after a hike.

Saturday morning before a great hike we stopped for breakfast. We were early and got a table right away. Very attentive service! Lots to choose from on the menu. We had the vegetable frittata and the Dipsea special special. Everything was good, but the biscuits really stood out. Prices were reasonable. Fun decor. We always find an excuse to go... More

Met a friend for lunch and sat out on the patio, which was pleasant next to the creek. My friend ordered the veggie frittata and I ordered the falafel burger, they were both delicious and really fresh. Great homestyle cooking, midrange prices, friendly staff and good service. Will definitely return.

My wife and I had lunch at Dipsea Cafe today and definitely plan to return soon. She had what she claims was "the best moussaka ever!" served with a nice Greek salad with a generous and delicious slab of feta cheese. I had an excellent version of real homemade corned beef hash that was also terrific. It came with a... More

We stopped here for a quick lunch before heading up to Muir Forest. What a surprise how great the food was! We order the Spanikopita and a Gyro - wonderful. Large restaurant with friendly staff. Nice view of the trail and everyone riding and walking along it. Great ambiance.

Let's get the price out of the way: it's not cheap. Ok there. Done. Now to the food--delicious. Our group of five ordered a real variety of brunch food. All the eggs were perfect. A couple of folks got the ahi salad--once again, perfect. One friend got a choco-berry smoothie. Delicious. My own plate, a "Joe's Special," was a delicious... More

We ate at the Dipsea Café a few years ago and loved it. We wanted to return to it if we came back to Mill Valley, which we did this week. We had people with us this time and wanted to see their reaction. It was as positive as ours, we all had breakfast and everyone fell in love again,... More

A truck driver would be more than satisfied by the quality and amount of food. Can't say enough about the GREAT pancakes.
