Great place for a huge breakfast before heading off to the beach or hiking. Good food, and generous helpings. Well prepared espresso drinks. Noisy usually. Parking lot in back. Popular with locals.

My friend and I stopped for lunch after she got off at the wrong exit and couldn't find the restaurant she had in mind. As it turns out, we each had a good burger, without bun as requested, in pleasant surroundings. We ate indoors, but there is a lovely outdoor patio overlooking the waterway. If memory serves, it was full... More

Another classic diner that gets it right. Large serves of well presented meals. We returned a second time and remained impressed. It's a bit of a locals hangout which is a good sign. Great breakfasts.

Ate here recently while visiting Marin. Prices here are quite expensive for very basic food . 30$ including tip for one tea, one oj and two bowls of basic oatmeal. I think that's quite high!

Walked here from our hotel for a bit of lunch after being on Muir Beach. Good menu reasonably priced. 1 refill on soft drinks, everything from soup and sarnies to full on meals. Quick service. Nice outdoor seating area. Lots of parking at rear if needed.

Dropped in for a late lunch. Entire family enjoyed each dish. Greek food to saffron pasta. They do utilize the local fresh seafood. Not cheap. Easy parking.

Breakfast was delicious. Service was excellent. Plenty of choices. It's just off 101 and on your way to Muir Woods, beaches, and a coastal drive. They kind of have the market cornered because we didn't see other restaurants as convenient. Compared to prices we pay back home, the Dipsea charges significantly more; we attributed that to where we were as... More

This well used breakfast place has a great menu that is basically a Comfort Food Bible. I have never been disappointed with my order, either in how long it took to arrive, to presentation to how yummy it was. I love and recommend the Whole Wheat Blueberry Pancakes, a healthier version of the old fashioned standby. The cottage fries yhat... More

Dipsea is truly a place to visit and eat, especially breakfast. The cafe is nothing fancy but very inviting and cozy. It is a "stone's throw" from the Pacific Ocean, if you can throw a stone over the impending mountains between the ocean and the restaurant. The menu is full of delightful breakfast treats that is a difficult decision to... More
