My favorite Italian restaurant in Mill Valley. Great for celebrations. Go early for best seating. Takes reservations. City parking lot or street parking. Friendly staff. Delicious food.

Celebrating my milestone birthday with my friends, I turned to Piazza D'Angelo's for a Sunday lunch in their outdoor setting, reminiscent of long Sunday lunches in Italy. The staff's attention to details, such as a printed menu and fashioning each course to my Sicilian family's culinary traditions, was truly special. Everything was delicious, the service was excellent, and wines perfect... More
I came here for lunch today with a dear friend. The restaurant was pretty empty when we were seated but picked up quickly during the lunch period. They have a good 2 item lunch with a variety of choices. I started with their Insalata Di Fagioli, a salad with baby lettuce, fennel, butter beans, walnuts, balsamic, shaved grana padano cheese.... Stopped here last minute for a quick bite, but we were pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything was. The wine list while not extensive was very good. I had the mushroom linguini and it was fantastic. The service was very good. Will come here again the next time we are in Mill Valley.
The food was very good, if a little bland. The ambiance is fun and lively. The service was very good and we were not rushed at all!
This is a dependable weeknight spot for Italian done well. Fish, pastas and salads are all good. I particularly love their carpaccio and arugula salad and fritto mist to start. The Insulate di Fagioli is also very good. I often order the veal scallopini which is tender and just the right amount of lemon added.
The pasta bolognese was absolutely yummy! The veal scallopine with fresh spinach also very tender and delicious. We sat outside in the garden and were very comfortable.
Set in Mill Valley's bucolic downtown, D'Angelos appeals to locals and non-locals, business meals or family outings. Great food, reasonable prices. Yum.
We were seated on the patio and it was very quiet until a big party came. Beautiful day and nice weather. I had the grilled salmon and it was quite good. One of my favorite foods.
