People who review the BR badly must be awfully fussy! I know a good meal when I get it, and the food here was excellent. We comprised a range of ages and tastes, and everyone was satisfied. Server was very nice and attentive, in spite of the fact that the place was packed. Really nice historic decor, too, and enough... More

$17.50 for a cheeseburger and fries? Really? I can't imagine why people would rate this so highly. I had the slow smoked spicy pork sandwich for $15.95. It was OK, nothing special. I could have gotten cole slaw that was as good or better at the deli section of the supermarket (I noticed most friends at the table didn't even... More

80's dining experience with 2017 pricing. Way overpriced for small portions and mediocre food. Very small piece of salmon on the entree. The barbecued ribs were not particularly tasty and dry. The cole slaw had a fishy flavor and the yams were not served hot. The famous S'more s dessert was a big nothing. Small portion with bloated marshmallow. The... More

Been there a few times now, and it's consistently good. Made a reservation for my last visit in advance, but they were running behind, so to avoid lengthy delays, they offered us a booth in the bar. Cocktails were well prepared (but they ran out of at least one white wine by the glass). Appetizers were tasty (though not terribly... More

I have never been a big fan, and my meal the day after Christmas confirmed everything I thought about the restaurant. Granted, it was busy, but that is never an excuse to serve mediocre food. Bloody Mary was lackluster and nothing special. My "medium burger" was burned on the outside and raw on the inside. Server was nice. All said... More

We had another GREAT meal at Buckeye today. The bright, beautiful and festive holiday decor both outside and inside made us feel warm and welcome. Our food was scrumptious. The service was professional and attentive. I've eaten here dozens of times over the years and have never had a bad meal experience.

Enjoyed the dinner and ambiance very much. The place was very busy and w/out a res we couldn't get a table on this Sat night until 9:30. Only complaint was the much-touted s'more pie which was a total bummer and way over priced---wish we hadn't wasted our money on it! Overall, enjoyed the evening.

Had a business lunch , wonderful ambiance and great food. I'm the decor is very old world with a touch of upmarket British pub. Being vegetarian I am always concerned about what I would get . I ate a delicious lasagna with many vegetable . It was light to taste and was just the perfect size. It is right on... More

the restaurant has curb appeal but you can't eat that. we food the food to be lacking in flavor and quality. i wish there was something i could say was a standout but unfortunately that was not the case everything was mediocre. i really expected better especially for the price.
