This place has a nice view of the Memorial and a wide variety of items to choose from. We went for the Sloppy Joe special and it was very good. Seating indoors and outdoors.

The cafe is the only place offering food at the Memorial. The is a big selection of different types of eats and drinks. The Memorial Team Ice Cream Shop was our favorite with limited choices of product.

Tasty and filling meals for an unbelievable non-touristy price. We love that this restaurant has an excellent ambiance for eating in.

We had breakfast here. The offering was very limited and why must they cremate bacon. The staff were friendly and helpful though.

No visit to Mount Rushmore is complete without a dining experience at the Carvers Café. Great view of the monument while sitting close to the fireplace is a must do! Cafeteria style with something for everyone!

We were at Mount Rushmore during the late afternoon and wanted to stay for the evening program so we decided to stay on property for dinner. Not a bad choice - although, expect to pay tourist prices. Two of us opted for the bison burgers and one a chicken sandwich. All were very good. Bison burgers were surprisingly excellent...moist and... More

...our group of 4 adults had dinner and short rest here after Rushmore late-afternoon visit while waiting for the evening lighting show of Mt. Rushmore. The buffet line choices were reasonably good and prices reasonable for the location. A hard location to beat if one plan's to attend the evening festivities at Rushmore.

Since it was October Keystone closes down for the season. This is the ONLY place open for breakfast. It was a treat! Buffet breakfast with a FABULOUS early morning view of Rushmore😊

My husband and I were part of a tour group visiting Mount Rushmore. All of my pre-travel research and tour books said the Thomas Jefferson ice cream at Carver's was a must do. We arrived early - made our trek to the mountain and headed to Carver's for our ice cream before we boarded the bus. To our dismay, we... More

We tried the Carvers Cafe for lunch on our recent trip to Mt Rushmore. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. My first impression was this that this is going to be another expensive cafeteria ripoff. Wrong. I did see your typical $10-$12 hamburgers, but I opted for the pot roast with carrots and gravy, mashed potatoes and rolls.... More
