This cafe is situation in the centre of the Mount Rushmore Memorial Site and provided a much needed air conditioned space to relax and eat lunch. There was a selction of foods and drinks offered. The seating area is well spaced out and comfortable.

We had actually hiked to Mount Rushmore on a 2 hour and 45 minute trek from Horsethief Lake and we were hungry. I had to go into the cafeteria and get food to go because we had our dog with us and dogs are not allowed at the monument. No one in this place had ever heard of a to-go... More

We had the monumental breakfast combo at 10:30, just before they started switching to lunch. Our plates were full of scrambled eggs, potatoes, biscuit and gravy, and bacon or sausage. The biscuit was fresh, the gravy creamy with some sausage pieces. A great breakfast to keep you on the go.

Good place to escape the rain. Upon entry it was confusing on where to go. The overpriced food was bland, and the temperature ranged from cool to luke warm to almost hot. Seating was plentiful and the view of the Presidents was terrific. The staff was very friendly.

Stopped for coffee and cookies here, but looked at all the options. They have a very good spread of food and it all looked great. Coffee is very good and costs $2.75.

These folks should prevail upon Disney to teach them how to handle hordes of people on even a light visitation day. Very poorly organized with long lines and no clarity as to which one to be in. Our food was cold by the time we finally got to a table. The sloppy joe special that day was good, but we... More

Enjoy the bison cheeseburger in view of the monument. Very peaceful way to soak in the sites. The ice cream is good too.
