I can't believe I don't have pictures but the food was so good that I had to eat it right away. This is the PERFECT spot to stop outside the park. It is an outdoor food stand with outside seating under shaded areas. The food...selection is SO GOOD and they even have beer on tap! I had to go back several times for the pasta salad it was so good. And the prices are so reasonable. We loved the pizza. They have indoor air conditioned bathrooms too. Just do it! You will be happy you did.More

This place just has the best vibe. So relaxed, yet so professional. The food was great, and the service (especially during these times) was exceptional.

We stopped there for lunch after getting off Mt. Rainier. After eating Mountain House for two days, everything should taste good. The pizza is ok but the salad is not very fresh. Everything is pretty expensive. It happened to be a breezy day so the...outdoor setting didn't work too well. We had to keep picking up napkins and paper plates from the ground. To me, those RMI photos are definitely more impressive than the food.More

At least when the weather is relatively nice, this place is great. Good beer at a fair price. Plenty of parking and outdoor tables with most covered and a few next to fire pits. Pizza is very good. So are the wraps. Avoid the brats....One suggestion: more bathrooms as they tend to get filled when climbing groups are meeting.More

After visiting Mt Rainier we decided to stop here for a drink and a small bite to eat. The weather was great and the outdoor area was excellent for enjoying drinks and eats. We had a little one (3 year old) with us and there...was plenty of room for her to run a little bit nearby. Every staff member we encountered as very friendly!More

We planned to have dinner here on our last evening in town and it was wonderful! It's laid back yet elegant. It seemed like a popular place for people to go for a nice or a casual dinner. We got a pizza and a bottle...of wine and really enjoyed ourselves!More

Staffing shortages have forced a lot of businesses to close or cut back hours. We were so glad to discover that BaseCamp Bar & Grill was open. I ordered the turkey bacon wrap. Generous portion and it was absolutely delicious! Each one of the staff...members was courteous, kind, and efficient. We did carryout but there was outdoor dining space available.More

I'd like to give this 3.75 stars. It's not bad, and my vegan chili was good. It's not fabulous either, though. It's super convenient, and fast, and hit the spot for what we needed.

No table service available; rather you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Plenty of outdoor seating. Limited menu options - mostly pizza and burgers. Decent value. Wished Paradise Inn would have been serving to avoid drive down to Ashford.

Long wait times to order, but we enjoyed the ambiance and watching the many hikers prepare for their tours. Once you get through the line to order, the food comes out quickly. Great location.

We were there during a heatwave so the only thing available were cold sandwiches. We were grateful for that. Sandwiches about $11. Nice place to hang at picnic benches. Fun people watching

Base camp is convenient to Ranier and their prices are reasonable. My veggie wrap was tasty. Husband said hamburger was meh. Many people frequent this for they also rent gear for snow hiking in the same location. Lots of outdoor seating. Some of it is...covered. I couldn't access the wifi.More
