We had pizza, burgers, and beer after rainy day of hiking at the end of last season. Nice staff, hot/tasty food, and good location. The only drawback is that it's a bit on the expensive side for what you get but it's still on par with other restaurants in the area.

Hi There, thanks for stopping by and taking the time to write a review. We are now open daily and will be expanding our menu - we've been working off of a condensed take-out only version. We hope you stop by to see us again on our next visit to Ashford/Mt. Rainier.

We had just come out of Mt Rainier Parklooking for a place to eat and spoted the sign for Reinier BaseCamp Grill, almost past it and had to make the turn in. What a great place with the outside seating it fit right into the COVID requirements. The Burgers were truly good, sort of the old fashioned way, think and tender. Of course I had a dark beer with mine. It was a very nice day with lots of people out so it got busy but people were enjoying.

We enjoyed the food and atmosphere here so much we ate here twice! After a day of hiking we were able to relax with burgers and beer at an outside picnic table in a great setting. We went back the next night for dinner which also turned out to be great! Totally enjoyed the large salad and delicious pizza, which my husband and I shared The local lager beer was perfect to end the day of hiking! Would definitely recommend this for good eats!

Base camp is convenient to Ranier and their prices are reasonable. My veggie wrap was tasty. Husband said hamburger was meh. Many people frequent this for they also rent gear for snow hiking in the same location. Lots of outdoor seating. Some of it is covered. I couldn't access the wifi.

We stopped there for lunch after getting off Mt. Rainier. After eating Mountain House for two days, everything should taste good. The pizza is ok but the salad is not very fresh. Everything is pretty expensive. It happened to be a breezy day so the outdoor setting didn't work too well. We had to keep picking up napkins and paper plates from the ground. To me, those RMI photos are definitely more impressive than the food.

We went for a drive and were hungry for a good burger. We decided to try BaseCamp Bar & Grill and it didn't disappoint with their burger menu. I got the regular burger and the meat was generous. It had the usual toppings and loved the lettuce was not iceburg. I felt I had something healthy for a burger. The fries tasted homemade. I'm not sure if they are but were fixed to perfection. My family opted for the cheeseburgers made with Tillamook cheese and enjoyed every bite. It was crowded as it was peak season, but we were able to sit under the patio and had good quick service.

Plenty of outdoor dining as well as indoor. Menu featured Nepali (I think it was Nepali) dishes, which were delicious. The owner is a climber with many peaks in his experience. A climbing suit, photos, awards and other memorabilia were on display

We picked this place randomly for lunch as we drove into Ashford, and we picked a gem! The menu is burgers, pizza, salads, sandwiches and wraps. The burgers were good. The pizza was hot and fresh and large! Our family of 4 left well fed before our adventures on the mountain.

After visiting Mt Rainier we decided to stop here for a drink and a small bite to eat. The weather was great and the outdoor area was excellent for enjoying drinks and eats. We had a little one (3 year old) with us and there was plenty of room for her to run a little bit nearby. Every staff member we encountered as very friendly!

Very good food. After a very long day of driving we ordered a pizza ahead of time to pick up. It was ready right when we ordered it to be ready, crust was delicious and plenty of toppings! Not a lot of options in the area so we were thrilled with a good one. We went back a second night and my wife got a wrap and myself a chicken sandwich. Nothing but good things to say!

While visiting Mt. Rainier, this place was actually right next door to our Airbnb. The entire place is outdoor, you place your order then pick i up when it's ready. The order was ready FAST! It was delicious, and we loved the atmosphere.

Stopped here to use the facilities and grab lunch on the way to Rainier. Probably the worst veggie burger I've had in my life. Hey, they tried. Food prices seemed a bit high but drinks were very affordable. Might be a good place to stock up before heading to the park.

I can't believe I don't have pictures but the food was so good that I had to eat it right away. This is the PERFECT spot to stop outside the park. It is an outdoor food stand with outside seating under shaded areas. The food selection is SO GOOD and they even have beer on tap! I had to go back several times for the pasta salad it was so good. And the prices are so reasonable. We loved the pizza. They have indoor air conditioned bathrooms too. Just do it! You will be happy you did.

No table service available; rather you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Plenty of outdoor seating. Limited menu options - mostly pizza and burgers. Decent value. Wished Paradise Inn would have been serving to avoid drive down to Ashford.

Staffing shortages have forced a lot of businesses to close or cut back hours. We were so glad to discover that BaseCamp Bar & Grill was open. I ordered the turkey bacon wrap. Generous portion and it was absolutely delicious! Each one of the staff members was courteous, kind, and efficient. We did carryout but there was outdoor dining space available.
