Eleven of us dined al fresco and had a family style meal. The appetizers both hot and cold were divine and everyone found something they loved. The waitress told us that the salad dressing was her grandmother's recipe and it was amazing, a creamy yogurt-based...More

Went there last night. A table close to the outside doors was not available right away, so we put our name in and headed out to get wine. When we got back, the people were still finishing up, so we started at an inside table...More

After the various reviews I was a little put off, but as it was raining and I was able to park directly outside I thought I would give it a try. Was glad I did, food good, portions a little on the large side (very...More

First, I'd like to point out that Pamir is not a new restaurant in Morristown... it's been around for probably 15 years. It moved to a new, more central, location last year. For many years, Pamir was our favorite restaurant in the area... the food...More

Just came back from dinner there! Where do you know that plays Gypsy Kings! I was jamming the whole time through out dinner! Great music, great food, OUTSTANDING service. Decor and ambiance is perfect for a Friday night out! Got my wine delivered to me...More

This little restaurant in downtown Morristown has decent interior for a not-formal restaurant. The smallish-portion chicken and fish dishes we ordered had minimal chicken and fish flavor; these flavors were not exactly overpowered by OTHER flavors, either. We had a coupon for "buy one dinner,...More

I didnt really know what to expect when entering an " Afghan " Restaurant... but trust me --- PAMIR is def worth a try. The ambiance is on point, exotic music and lighting. And the service is out of this world. Best customer service I...More

Upon arrival, the waitress was rude. She did not open our wine for about 10 minutes. Then she did not bring wine glasses for about 20 minutes, claiming they did not have any clean. She also suggested an appetizer plater, failing to mention the price....More

Pamir is centrally located in a lovely new space in Morristown. Everything we've ordered has been excellent -- tasteful spices, interesting taste combinations, amazing rice dishes. One of my favorite places to dine.

Pamir is the name of a mountainous area in Central Asia mainly in Afghanistan once along the route of Marco Polo’s Silk Road and also inhabited by descendants of Alexander the Great’s troops. The region’s cuisine was fortunate to inherit many exotic spices and flavors of Central Asia and its surrounding countries with influence from the Far East, Middle East, Mediterranean and Russia. Pamir Restaurant was originally opened in NYC in 1979 and has maintained the same family ownership and great recipes. Enjoy a taste of our history!
